What's wrong with the baby-Glock?

Pen2_the_penguin 10-31-2012 02:52 PM

-Guarantee she will pinch her hand while racking at least once

-nick her hand by the slide at least once while firing it

-drop it due to recoil surprise

-complain about slide being to "hard to rack"

From what I have seen while gun shopping for and with women (My wife, my own mother, friends and cousin... I hate shopping with women), they tend to like the hammered semi-automatics with fatter slides due to the ease of trigger pull and racking opposed to hammerless.

The baby glock is a man's conceal weapon.

Also I was wondering, do they sell stripped lowers?

I've seen them on Joe Bob Outfitters previously though I can't seem to find a stripped one on there currently. They do have the New Frontier Armory stripped poly lower for $44.95..

I just dont trust plastic internal parts, I find plastic is great for frames and ultralight setups, but a plasic hammer?!

elesjuan 10-31-2012 04:17 PM

Hell the parts my friend had fail didn't include the hammer.

If I can remember, I'll snap some pictures of my original trigger. The mating surface between the trigger and hammer sear surfaces were VERY heavily worn.

Makes me wonder, with the plastic FCG you can engage the safety with the hammer down, and cock the bolt with the safety engaged... This more than likely would cause excessive and abnormal wear, since it wasn't really designed to do this..

My boss' gun, fun to shoot. I really, really like it but carrying the Shield makes a lot more sense. It's cool to shoot an all-metal compact (really a mid) and "different" to shoot.

I am picking up a CZ SP01 from a buddy. Found it surprisingly enjoyable to shoot, tack driver also. With some modes the trigger has become pretty darn awsome for a 3.5lb trigger.

All metal compacts to just full size just feel durable, but for everyday carry I like lightweights. Once and a while I like feeling like a badass carrying my baby eagle .45

This thread is failing.

Been looking for one of these for awhile. Found the M1 variant. Added Limbsaver pad, Nordic charging handle, Nordic +7 tube, Nordic follow, Nordic Clamp. (still needs trigger work, oversized release button and welded/tuned lifter)

I want to see you machine your own firearm. After seeing your work on the engine swap, building a firearm should be a piece of cake.

Absurdflow firearms is your next business venture.

Went for a group shoot on some private property Sunday. Filled the Prius C to the brim, tucking the rear tires like a CR.net moderator.

Got a nice 50mpg, spent 4hrs playing with clays/dueling tree/rifle dialing in/bosc pear exploding.

baby glocks are cool. I had a g27 in sw .40. I like my G17 much better. The g27 and g26 are way to fat for me to carry. I think ill be getting a rugar lc9 for a carry gun. its just a 9mm but atleast it has more knock down than a .380 or .32 . I do like the rugar and keltec .380s though.

No such thing as knock down in a common handgun caliber.
