my magazines must be defective then.

hmm, I'm going to experiment with both amount and brand of ammo
|
Ammo I tested was all PMC 55gr.
Tonight's ramblings by http://www.98bottles.net/wp-content/...31-201x300.jpg Never had it before. Not bad but won't buy again. |
55 gr. Tula flies out like a mother fucker and the only other rounds I have are 62+ loads because I'm a boss and I have a Colt
|
Wut is your twist?
My colt is 1:12, the DPMS is 1:9.. |
1:7, anything more is too fast for heavier loads
|
|
"tactical"
|
Nutnfancy approved I'd bet.

Help me out here guys.
Christmas presents for (barely still my) wife and I are GUNS!!11!!1 this year. I want something small frame and easy to shoot for her, but that is still a reasonable defense pistol. Everything in my head tells me to just get her a .22 auto, until I visualize her trying to stop a home invader. Not that she'd hit shit anyway... She probably just needs something fun to start shooting first, and we can work on effective stopping power later. I want a carbine/pistol combo. I'd prefer 9mm, mainly for the higher pistol capacity. Priorities: -Cost -Accuracy in carbine -Capacity Don't want to spend a grand on both, so options are pretty much either the HiPoint shit (that isn't really shit), or the KelTec Sub 2000 with mags that fit a pistol I can find for $400-500. I'm considering my first Glock pistol. Whatever mag they both use I want to be able to get high (~30rd) cap mags for the carbine, and still have 15rd mags for the pistol. The carbine will be home defense go-to and a range plinker. Pistol will be my car gun, with high round count being focus, and ability to carry an added bonus. I do like the added punch of .40 S&W and have heard shining review of the Kel Tec chambered in this. Thanks in advance gays. |

I keep it loaded with Custom Cartridge's Self Defense hollow points and locked up but readily accessible if needed. |
Well fuck...looks like I killed this thread.
WHY YOU NO ANSWER MY QUESTIONS????? jk I bought my wife a Walther P22. I'll post pics when I can bring myself pull the pink abomination out of the box. I just wanted something quality she'd enjoy and consider her own, and that would give her lots of practice. I really wanted to try to Bersa .22 since it'd be the same frame to step up to .32 later, but local shop didn't have one. I'm spending more nights away from home and was anxious to get her -something-. It's actually a neat gun. I can't find a KelTec carbine fucking anywhere. There's a gun show in Conroe next weekend so I'm holding out for that. |
I haven't fired a sub2000 yet but I did check one out at the counter. Felt really light. Not the most comfortable thing from what I remember. Seemed to have sharp edges on it. Nothing that a little sanding wouldn't fix. Still, it would be interesting to have.
You might try to mail order one. Can't put it in your hands first but you can at least get one. They used to be hard to find but we even have some showing up in Charleston now. |

I can't afford to shoot like that. I did see that I'm down to 7K rounds of .22LR so it is time to start stocking up again. My dad lives a mile or so away from an Academy Sports and they always have really good deals on ammo. I'll probably have him stock up for me before he visit next month.
