The 18psi MS PNP-Pro questions thread (Attention DIYAutotune)
Yeah, MSpro for the MSm does control the stock boost solenoid. Disable it under Advanced Engine, Programmable On/Off Outputs.
Oh, and I briefly enabled VSS as well, never had time to make it right. Read a fairly constant 7mph, obviously a little off when I was going 40.

I had it on spark cut, 3000 rpm, thought my muffler was about to fly out in pieces, it was so crazy. Absolutely blew the tires off in 1st gear.
I'll play with it more later, right now I need to get this EBC working properly so I can retune the car on 12psi and e85

What is the fastest, easiest way of wiring in the DIY EBC and enabling it in the software?
Is it - wire the 2 wires to the oem solenoid wires?
Is it - wire to the back connector and source +12v somewhere (like I've done)?
Also, which drop down do you use for either of the above in the boost control settings? Is it high frequency out 2?
Please advise, there literally is no documentation anywhere about this crap that makes any sense.
I REALLY don't understand why there is such lack of documentation for the MS-Pro when it's advertised to have been in testing for what, 2 years?
PS: I looked under advanced engine like you said and that output seems to be enabled for RPM/Tach?????? should I still disable it?
High Current Out 2 is the OEM boost solenoid. Should be set to turn on at rpm greater than 3700. Disable it.
Then set boost settings like this:

Or at least that's what I used.
I agree, it's very annoying, the lack of documentation. They also call pins different names in different menus, like the high current 2 and OEM boost solenoid. Whatever, someone will figure it all out and make a decent write up sometime soon.

wait what the crap??!! I don't even have that drop down "oem boost solenoid"
but I did what you said and kept the boost control on "high frequency out 2" and now it doesn't give me an error
So thank you again, hopefully that works.
I'll report back

No I wired to the extra plug, but it worked by selecting "oem boost solenoid", so I assume they're the same pin in two different locations, and wiring it to the oem wiring would work with my same settings.
DIY,
Is there anything that I need to flip/enable for VSS to actually be used by the car?
What I mean is: my fans are set to turn off past 40mph, I can go past 40 (as indicated on the gauge in TS, and seems to be pretty accurate according to speedo) and they won't turn off.
My Launch Control is supposed to turn off past 1mph, yet enables any time I push in clutch regardless of speed.

Sure thing, will do tonight.
Basically VSS thresholds are not seen by the MS.
I don't think the log will show the problem, since the TS gauge for VSS displays the correct speed (matches the speedo), but I'm probably missing something.

Be sure to enable Port Status before making the log. This will let me see things like "over 40 mph and the fans active", and the like.
