I took some time this weekend and assembled my DIYPNP and had the car running. Now I just have to get the seats put back in so I can take it for a spin and start tuning!

Talking

94 NA. - with alot of stuff done to it besides the motor...all the other kinks are worked out and the tracks are getting boring with 100 hp

Step 1

MS2 standalone non inverted spark - started up for the first time today (practically the first cranking cycle).

Now need WB02 and time to tune and work out the issues (tach doesnt work, idles really high and per the narrowband sensor its pig rich).

Thanks MiataTurbo.net

1992 Eunos Roadster, DIYPNP, JRSC M45, GM IAT, AEM UEGO, VTPS

Runs extremely lean on throttle tip in, have switched off AE & will to try autotune the issue out - pulls well in all other area's.

Thanks for the heads up, I was going to add AE in once I had achieved a half decent tune - I'm receiving a lot of tuning assistance from 'richyvrlimited' who also very kindly built & installed my DIYPNP a couple of Months back.

Also had some advice on this subject today from Phil Ringwood @ Extra EFI (UK) - but nothing as easy as dialing in a few values here & there & although I'm going to reduce the stumble somewhat, I get feeling that this particular issue will on the whole go unresolved.

Not wanting to hijack this thread & duplicate one that's currently ongoing, this is where I have previously added my comments: https://www.miataturbo.net/showthrea...t=48478&page=2

I had one of the first MSPNP 9697 units on my 96 naturally aspirated. That car has been sold but I'm looking to build a diypnp for my 2000 mp62 9-10psi hotside in the next week or so.

I also used to run an MSII with EDIS on my F2T and FE3 powered mx6 back in '06.

I'm running a standalone DIYPNP on my 2000 Miata with an LC-1, DW 600cc injectors, and a FM GT2560 no electronics kit.

I knew that I've been forgetting something.

1996. FM II. Brain built DIYPNP(my first one, not pretty). RX-7 550cc. COPs(my own). LC 1. Et Cetera...

I never get to tune, it sucks. 2011!

Quick update. I just installed my MS2 daughter card and set it up for sequential injection with the 3.0.3 extra code and the JBPerf peak and hold driver board. MiataTurbo wiki mods with an opto isolator on the second trigger. I hope to get it wired in the car tomorrow. Thanks again guys!!!

On a side note, the latest extra 3.0.3x code is out for your enjoyment.
