No, because here in the EU leaded soldered is banned due to ROHS, you insensitive clod! So we are forced to use lead-free solder, which sucks but is not as heavy.

It's quicker doing it this way. Besides, if everything goes as planned, I'll get PCBs fabricated for this group buy, which is why I am trying to get things finalized.
I am starting on my reading. Will you have instriction manual? There is lots of info on OBDI miatas how simmilar are they? I am thinking that once we start getting the units, we should (Noobs) create 1(one) thread in the MS section and post our questions and installations there.
I guess here are some important ones?

The first thread is irrelevant, as this is NOT a DIYAutoTune MSPnP, it's a DIYPNP based ECU, that is plug and play in function, but not in name.
Let's call it the DIYPNP Enhanced, to save everyone from the frustration that will arise when the question is asked, "Which Megasquirt", to which the answer should NOT be, "Oh, it's an Megasquirt PNP - its an MSPNP - its a DIY PNP", etc. So when asked, let's call it the DIYPNP Enhanced. Hopefully, DIYAutoTune won't sue me for trademark infringement or anything.
The second and third threads are relevant, so go ahead and read.
You can also get the idea of what's going on, by reading the DIYPNP assembly instructions, so that you can have a better understanding of what is a DIYPNP "base" unit: http://www.diyautotune.com/diypnp/docs.html
I don't have any other documentation that I can provide right now, as everyone's unit will be a little different, so each one of you will receive different instructions with your unit.

Fuel autotune: You need to register your copy of Tunerstudio for that to work.
Knock sensing: All NBs will have the knock sensing circuit built but NOT enabled in the software. You must enable it and adjust the sensitivity of the circuit through a potentiometer on the board (each engine is different, so you MUST tune it to YOUR engine).

So, what's the status of the first few units?

I'm waiting for the units to arrive. Scott didn't make it to the post office on Saturday as he had some serious repackaging to do to ship them to me, so I would expect them to arrive next Monday (09/20).

They should be in my hands by Friday. From there, expect 2 days per unit, I will ship in batches of 5. So a batch of 5 units every 10 days.
If someone doesn't want to wait, I can ship their unit as soon as I build it, but that will get your unit an extra $40 in shipping.
