Yeah, your choice of hello kitty or rainbow unicorns.

Braineack 03-26-2013 08:01 AM

The hello kitty unit must be for CR.net members. We keep it classy here...

It's all about the snakes and sparklers

18psi 03-26-2013 09:03 AM

I just know someone will ACTUALLY do this sometime soon.

I can feel it

I'll paint my eventual one pink. It's going between my legs anyway.

blaen99 03-26-2013 12:45 PM

Shit, if someone provides the paint, I'll paint mine pink.

Cleared.

I pulled the trigger and ordered a MS3 basic. I have a 96/97 Miata.running a 99 head. I installed a FM 32-2t crank trigger along with NB sensor.

Is there anything else that needs to be changed for me to run crank fired ignition?

vinohare 09-15-2013 10:37 PM

Rev what would I need in addition to this to let your ms3 control boost and to have it delete my afm?

Reverant 09-16-2013 12:29 PM

You need a boost control valve to control boost. What year is your car?

1990

Reverant 09-16-2013 01:03 PM

Yeah you need an IAT sensor to remove the AFM on a 90.

Can you clarify wich trigger wheel option can work with MS3 Basic ?

I remember speaking to you about it but can't find the discussion and it could be good info in here too.

Reverant 10-03-2013 02:58 PM

Almost any 12-1, 36-1, 60-2 will work in batch fuel/wasted spark. If you want full sequential, you need the FM 36-2 wheel and you need to update the firmware to the latest 1.3 alpha.

I'm confused now. I'm using a supermiata damper + 36-1 wheel. The other thread you said it should be fine reassigning the CAS wiring to the trigger wheel, and using the oem 99 cam position sensor.

Does this mean I just cut off on extra tooth on the trigger wheel, if so which tooth; leading or trailing?

It says 36-1 will work in the post right above yours.

Reverant 10-04-2013 10:03 AM

...but only in batch/wasted spark.
