Who bumped this god damn thread

I'm hoping to have manifold/turbo/downpipe DIY kits on the market by Q2 2014.

TurboTim 11-15-2013 04:41 PM

Soo....you mean you will put a bunch of weld elbows and j-bends in a box with a few flanges?

Shipping tomorrow!!!!!!!!!

(Cast manifold, EFR6258 or EFR6758, 3" stainless downpipe, optional oil/water lines. Add your own intercooler, exhaust, intake, fuel system, clutch, ECU, and make 200whp-400whp depending on boost level and judgement.)

I didn't see any mention of long block. Will that be included in the kit?

ctdrftna 11-15-2013 06:57 PM

will your investemnt cast manifold be along the lines of this ?? ( im being serious)

Alpha Nissan R35 Gt-R Turbo Kit - Automotosports, Inc.

what i mean is, will it have good flowing runners, a cast tubular manifold, or just a better log manifold.

Are You Paying $16k For Such Awesomeness?

Obviously we don't have gtr motors in our cars, I'm referring to the style of cast manifold. It seems that the manifold is the main development. I'm asking is a investment cast stainless tubular manifold like shown, is what we should expect. Or should we expect a typical log style manifold

Only $8K as we only need one manifold and turbo. Those manifolds looks fantastic, I wonder what they cost by themselves?

ctdrftna 11-16-2013 07:44 PM

One of those manifolds probably cost 1k or less realistically , you are getting the AMS tax+GTR tax(multiplied by the Alpha omega tax). Treadstone performance sells similar style manifolds for other cars, Ams also makes evo manifolds like that now.

Makes it easier to weld the exhaust housing to the block so you can eliminate the excess load the tubular manifold is having to carry.

FRT_Fun 11-21-2013 02:31 PM

I'll beta test a kit on my Volvo. I was on the track team in High School, so I have experience in the matter.

sixshooter 11-21-2013 05:26 PM

I've used FedEx, so I even have a tracking number.

Braineack 11-21-2013 05:27 PM

Call FFS, one man did it with one car in a few months.
A feat no one else seems to be able to replicate.

concealer404 12-26-2013 02:31 PM

I just purchased the kit, which disc should i install in my FMU?

18psi 12-26-2013 02:38 PM

Depends on how much you retarded your bipes acu

concealer404 12-26-2013 02:40 PM

I think i'm going to actually run without that because i read on here that more timing = more power. I'm just wondering which disc will let me make the most power on stock injectors.

The realm of crotch rockets and F1 cars?

hustler 12-27-2013 09:07 AM

I'm going to wait and install mine after I get the TSE direct injection conversion kit.

18psi 12-27-2013 09:39 AM

You might wanna install and tune your direct anal injection from TSE, that way you're familiar with tuning when its time to install the turbo kit.

I recently had that tuned at a truckstop.

concealer404 12-27-2013 10:12 AM

So, i still haven't gotten my kit, and it's clearly 2 days after Christmas. Just sayin'.
