If you need a recommendation, there is a place in Hutto that built my motor last time.
Day Custom Engines is doing the next one.

Trey if I were in your shoes I would buy a TSE short block. Andrew has suffered the teething pains of what you experienced on the last build so I expect he has the assembly/machine shop stuff all down pat.

I would use Andrew for this but I have an excellent machinist very close by, the same who built my turbo engine.

I have my doubts there are anything wrong with those pistons. My motor looked exactly like that when I pulled it apart, and the pistons are fine.

My motor had a severe overheating incident. Is it possible the same thing happened to this motor? Was it ran before you got it?

ROFL. Throw back in your turbo **** while you wait for the money to build the engine properly. Then crank up the boost and enjoy raping people on the street.

This is not even an option considering the manifold is cracked. Thanks for playing though.

Close your mouth and put on a helmet if you're going to walk around.

Timmah can fix your manifold. Cancel your post-op follow up and be a man.

Is there a neanderthal method for testing valve-seal with a loose head?

I've seen this done with kerosene or similar fluid. Pull the cams. Then fill the intake/exhaust port and look for any leaks around the valves.
