From what I've been able to glean from forums and their own site, it seems like possibly generic or best-guess valving on these things. AKA not much R & D. Curious though since they look like they might be of decent construction.

One of you track ****** needs to get this cat to donate a set for a good flogging and objective report.

As it is I'm saving my pennies for Club Sports or AFCOs unless a better bang for buck comes along.

 

I'd guess they are along the lines of the Megan EZ streets but the dynos might prove me wrong.

 

Bleh..... Time will tell, I suppose. The only "review" I could find was a guy raving about how great they are before he even did any setup or alignment. How the **** could you tell anything?!!

One very simple way I know they are dog ****, "30-way adjustable". That pretty much says it all.

If these were built in house or had any type of real R&D they would have discussed it by now.

Those threaded bodies sound like a great feature to the consumer; the factory likes them because they can use the same body for everything and let the threaded body do the fitmet work. I bet they have 3-5 different "monotube valve dampers" that thread into car specific bases and get car specific upper mounts. Oh, and they look just like K-sports to me.

 

I'm not a shock dyno *****, but I like how they give no details about the shock, only his personal endorsement. "I have a box with $1000 of car parts, and I promise you it's good...so send me $1000 and you can have it."

Most of my business is with Subaru owners. "I make my money off people who's parents buy them ****."

 

I just saw 2 sets of those. In my hands. As I installed them on 2 cars...

Tis a striking resemblance to be sure. The lack of any verifiable testing, R&D, or data makes me inclined to write them off as the junk they likely are. I was just curious if anyone took the chance yet. I'd like to see some real world data either way. I'm not about to buy them unless they're the runaway surprise of the decade.....not holding breath cuz I'm at least 6 months away from givin' a damn.

 

No, he took my meaning out of context, and that's what I'm taking exception to. Besides, Ricelands are no bang for any buck. Bang for buck would have to be a good product on some level and those are garbage. VMAXX might be in that category but for that kinda dough I'd just stick with the tried and true Tokicos, Konis, or Bilsteins. Im fact I'm only keeping AFCOs on my short list because my car is 99% street toy.
