I'd understand if the miata had issues fitting a turbo system in the engine bay. The thing is though... it doesn't have this problem. Why trade efficiency for the sake of being different? Why would you even need to do a rear mount on a miata?

If you are doing it for shits and giggles then why not? Just know there are far better options.

Exactly. The Miata remote-mount crowd, however small, is a weird bunch. They've managed to convince themselves that it's not only a good idea, but is somehow superior to just putting the turbo underhood.

It looks like to much work to me. And for the price of all the piping, Your back to square ONE. No savings in price.

But to each there own. As long as it runs like a rapped chicken.

how i ask you where you measure you intake temps at also the heat output may be just as good with an intercool youre not rewritting law of physics here but the overall efficency of the turbo is slightly lessen do to less energy to spin the turbine with teh exhaust gasses. as for the rest of your statement we all know that youre lying here so stop being a little fairy princess take a minute from taken naiked pictures of yourself and posting on your favorite gay chtroom and craigslist m4m ads and go prove yourself. if your next post on this forum does not include a photo of your trubo setup with a piece of paper that says braineack is god on it, then im banning you. the ball is in your court, no pun intended

I obviously chose the hard way to turbo my car. Who knew it could be so simple. And that speaker mounting system in that vid is pimp.

This is so true, unfortunately. Here we are witnessing yet another example.

IMHO remote mount Miata turbos can have that ultra-inexpensive, LeMons appeal to them. I just wish some of these guys would actually follow through once in awhile, instead of being, well--weird, and self destructing after the whole idea implodes on them.
