I have not intercooler and have not had one for a long time now. The car is finally back together. My baby is now almost 2 and I have been finding time to work on it. So here is the quick and dirty. The car is currently at Freed Engineering here in Maryland to get tuned. I am running pump 93 with methanol injection. No water mix 100% methanol at a rate of about 20 gallons per hour. This is considered aggressive as far as methanol goes but it does the job well. I am getting it tuned will be 18-24 psi depending on what the tuner feels is ok. Shooting for 500whp anythign over that is just bonus. The car is now running an r154 transmission I was tired of blowing up the w58's I blew up two. I got rid of my MT drag radials for some 235/50r15 toyo R888 these should make for a great street tire. I will post up some pics soon and will let you all know how the tune session goes should be tuned in the next week and I cannot wait. The car has been sitting almost two years and I am ready to play with it and make some people cry..

What intake manifold is that?
I just purchased a 2jz gte with vvti to put into my miata and i do not want to deal with the hybrid throttle body it has. I see ebay intake manifolds and dont know if i want to risk it but the only other options i can find cost 2-3k for just the manifold so thats a bit out of my price range.
Also what exhaust manifold or did you make it your self? Is there enough clearance for a turbo and a tubular manifold?

The intake manifold is one I custom made. I cut the runners machined them flat and made the plenum and base plate and had a local guy weld it up. The throttle body is an ebay 90mm (I should have used an 80mm) and I used an adapter from the Q45 tps to a toyota tps. It is the same adapter as the greddy adapter but I made this one.
They sell some bolt on uppers now for around $350 on ebay that are a good deal and fit well. They also use the Q45 style throttle body.

Just want to inform everyone that the chase car in the second part of the clip is an audi s4 with upgraded turbos methanol and a tune. I will be getting some more videos in a few weeks. I am going thru the brakes and installing a new methanol controller and pump. The video above is on 15psi of boost and nothing over 5800-6000 rpm due to a lean condition and fueling prob none the less the car still scoots. Audi had some minor fueling issues as well both are pretty much sorted now and hoping to get some vids of us at the track in nov. we have a little track day planned at Mason Dixon drag way so it should prove to be fun.

I do not have a dyno sheet because I choose not to print it due to it being a short pull. It made 417whp at 5800 rpm at 15psi. It was having methanol issues. Turns out I had a bad methanol pump. I got a new pump and a new controller instead of using the aem to control it. I also had a shake so I also did some maintenance. I replace the brakes all the way around with some hawk HPS pads and turned the rotors balanced all the tires and installed the new meth kit. I will be driving it tomorrow to do some testing and hope to get a new dyno with the working methanol around 18-20 psi of boost should put it right at the 500whp range. I will keep you all updated.

Hows the hood fitment going?
Any chance of fitting it? Or maybe some large spacers in the rear to bring it up a little?

On a side note the 100k motor decided to take a dump and pinch a ringland yesterday. So the 2jz Miata is coming apart. I'm taking the 2j out and putting in a v8. I have to decide if I want a 6.0l with a 6 speed or a 4.8l with an auto and turbo. If anyone wants the mount set to put a 2jz in their car I'll sell the front crossmember with mounts cheap. So the 2jz Miata is done and its time to move on to something bigger and better.
