In the passenger seat. It allows for more to be spent on the car, and even gets extra hands to help work on stuff sometimes.

You better have good insurance to cover replacement hips when you give that to her.

Not that that mask would help you anyways unless those filters were opened less than 4 hours prior.

Just zinc coating. If it stinks I put on the mask. It was a couple nuts.

Same thing?

Be careful welding anything with a zinc coating, even if you think you've ground the coating off.

The fumes can and will make you very sick:

ask me how I know...

This is what pool acid is for. (welding the nuts, not the ring).

(edit) Hm, perhaps that's for cadmium plating.

If it smokes I put on the respirator. If it still stinks I hole my breath.

As long as it isn't windy the garage doors are open anyways.

Washing racing gloves: Water? Soap? Mine are all gross from getting sweaty. I was thinking about just warm water soaking and no soap.

Suggestions?

Typically - dish soapy water. Soak, rinse, soak, rinse and dry off. Pretty much what I do with gloves and helmet inserts.

Also I would pat dry with a towel, and then air dry, no forced drying.

Well Hailey drove the car last night. Didn't stall it, hit boost a couple times. Finally had her put it in second, the look on her face when we hit like 5500 was priceless. Wide eyes and let off quickly. Going to see if she can do longer pulls tonight.

Tonight we also try launch control.

Ordered a CSF dual core radiator. My CXRacing radiator is a ******* champ, and I would buy one again in a heartbeat. But I have trips to thunderhill, ORP, and MRLS coming up, and its not a gamble I want to take.

I also had amazon gift cards from work, and it has prime shipping.

Need to get that installed then off to auto-x this weekend.
