Bearings arrived at the machine shop today. Maybe I'll see the block by the end of the week?

Installed my hood vent and started drilling out the old rivets. And replacing them with black rivets. May not be everyones cup of tea, but I think the black looks a lot better.

I think the final step will be getting some nail polish or something and painting the aluminum black. I wish I had done it before I riveted everything. I might still do it on the other side.

I would try and lay down some of that plastic liner trim that people use for bumper cuts in the gap. That would look good and have a slight aero benefit.

The gap is way too small. I'll probably just end up drilling them all out and painting it again

I honestly don't think so. It looks like it should fit. You could also use the foam that they use for wide body kits that goes in between the body and flare to fill in the gap.
