I have some. I used it on my bumper cut. The slot is less than 1/8th inch.

You drilled out 80 rivets in order to change the color from silver to black? Did Jeff come to visit or something?

Only took a half hour or so. And I'm drilling them out again tomorrow to paint something else black.

Did you include the 1.0uF capacitor on the switched 12V terminal and 0.001uF capacitor between the ECU's 5V and GND terminals and to Signal GND, as shown below (fromMegaManual)?

Mine are configured in Wasted Spark mode; I've got a 0.470uF capacitor on the 12V switched terminal since it was the largest I could find but no 0.001uF capacitors.
It works fine but I'm considering shortening the harness and making the harness is easier if the capacitors aren't REALLY needed.

Black rivets looks much better, standard rivets make the car look "unfinished".

Going for the "Goth Look"?
(or should that be the "EMO Look" given that the car's red)

I'd just mask and spray away instead of nail polish.. as long as you aren't Hellen Keller with a spray can it shouldn't be hard to take long to do.

OEM NA6 harness already has a capacitor on the coil supply near the ignitor.

this wouldn't be a Miata build thread without the use of nail polish

Aidan can always "Go Goth" and use the remaining black nail polish on his nails, then he wouldn't have to bother about cleaning black grease/oil around his nails after working on the car - WIN!

That was an annoying amount of drilling.

The non-symmetry of how the rivet hole pattern is different than the plate cut pattern irrationally irritates me. Black does indeed look way better. You should still drill out all the rivets again and fix this
