Car looks way better sans stripe and the black rear top area looks great. You should keep the two tone them and move it to the front and paint the lower rocker white.. Did I miss the post, how did you get the lids attached to the hood?

Gotta love the weather!! I made up some clips/tabs to hold the new vent in place and went out for a drive. Heres a couple shots of the car as she sits now with the vent....outside of the garage.
The z34 vent is nice too since it already had threaded studs for mounting

The finished polished vent....took the better part of 2.5hrs with the same procedure I did for the hood

you need to wrap the top, hood, and headlight covers in that material... would really finish the look... or paint to hood and headlights black...
