The Cuban builds a raft thread (Help! Sprung leak - call SamNavy)
So he decided to go with the same design huh? That flange is different from mine.

This is what I used. A long metal pole in the lower arm to act as a lever, push down with your foot while you remove the shock with your arms. Did my first suspension swap alone in just a few hours 2000 miles from home with 3 sockets, 3 wrenches, a pair of jack stands, and the stock scissor jack using that guide. --> FCM on all 4 corners

Thanks
, that bolt was it, I had no problem removing the shock assembly after removing it. Wayne- that looks awesome
hope to hear/see good news soon so I can finally BOOST!!
The flange is different because he has a 1.8.
I'm hoping to have it ready to ship by friday! I have 2 days of autocross this weekend that I still haven't prepped my car for so hopefully I can stay on track and get all my goals met this week.

Ok so to add to the suspension drama, Im hearing a clanking noise with any input to the steering. I took the car out just when I had finished installing the coilover, when I saw everything looked good, I tossed it around a bit with no problem or noise. The following morning I drove the car to the train station and there were no problems also. In the afternoon when I got back I noticed that the steering was very shaky and will make a clanking noise with any input. Im either riding too low or I fucked something. Comments???
