Yeah, I was thinking as a matter of fact I didnt realize the belt had snap till I heard a knock-like sound coming from the engine bay. I stoped at the autopart store, poped the hood and saw the belt was literally shredded. My temperature didnt alert me of overheating though; I wonder now if due to the water pump not working for that amount of time if my HG is fucked.

Before this oil consuption was present, but not at this scale. Also I have noticeble leaks that I didnt have before. So am I in the right path??

Does the PLX, when you first turn it on, go to 14.7, hang there, then start climbing up to 20+ without the car running? Also, what AFRs is MS reporting?

Has to be a miswired PLX. Mine was fuxored when I bought the car, the po had crossed up basically all the wires. Been 100% ever since. We'll get your Cuban *** going in no time.

No, when I put the key on start it goes to 14.7 and sits there. MS reports ~14.7 throughout the entire rpm. Is it the white or the gray wire that goes to the MS?? I wired it according to the instructions

Im LOVE cubans, like I love Obama. Ninja edit, *******.

it's the pink one actually... the gray is a 5 volt OUTPUT and specifically used to power a variable TPS.

if it's sitting at 14.7:1, then the MS is most likely getting a 2.35v signal (unless it's looking for a 0-1v narrowband) where then it could be a 0.2-0.8v signal.

Im talking about the PLX300 it says here, white wire for WB. http://www.plxdevices.com/Installati...UsersGuide.pdf

Is the same wire I had connected to the MS when I had it in my previous car.

Oh no, Ricky Ricardo. I thought you were using the real PLX, not that fucked up ****. You obviously have to run the white wire to the MS. Can you take a picture of the unit, it's not up on the site anymore as far as I can tell, b/c it's discontinued.

Maybe someone can tradusca into espanol, or whatever, but I'd like to see the back of the unit, where the wires plug into it.

I originally thought you had the SM/DM combo like I have, and I had the same sort of problems you are having. If I could see how it plugs into everything, if it's similar to mine I can help you out. The instructions don't have much info. Is the wideband plugged in all the way? Are any pins damaged on either end of the connector?
