Yah, I was pretty upset when stuff was detonating the day after, but I now understand that the 100% humidity may have affected the tune, and we may have been able to get away with much more timing than we could otherwise.
Also, the fucked up AFRs I saw in the log I posted were due to some intermittent problem with my Hydra wideband.
Phil has indeed been emailing with me all day and been providing me with good support.

Check your wiring on the WB but it might be the location of the actual sensor. On the first pull after cool down the WB wasn't hot enough so I wouldn't get an accurate AFR read but all pulls thereafter would be good.
Like I mentioned I don't see abnormal engine noise in your logs. You may need to readjust the sensitivity of your knock light but I don't find those very accurate unless you program them. For instance I broke my race car in on that dyno to 670 whp and knock voltages peaked around 1.15 volts but I've free reved other built motors end without load exceeded 1.7 volts. A stock head without upgraded valves and springs typically peaks around .8 volts.

Hi Phil and welcome to the forums.
Just so you know, Miataturbo tends to jump straight to badmouthing pretty much everything and then working backwards from there. Kind of like Phillies fans.
Please dont take it too personally. If you ignore the initial onslaught, the truth does settle out eventually.

Fae it appears that you don't have any real knock and that your tuner is doing a great job handling your concerns. It's hard to find a good tuner that is willing to help when something goes wrong and it seems you have found one. Good job Phil.

**** the new DW it and it's china built *** can go... Back to china.
This is a genuine czhechosocvlacian **** damnit whatever it is a bosch 044 sitting in tank. I am putting my fuel map back where it was right now. I'm gonna post a thread about the install later tonight. It was quite easy. Consulting advice provided by slo_sc3.
I also upped my bov spring per Phil's advice and it no longer leaks at idle. That has smoothed up this tip in jerkiness I wasn't able to tune out.

Yah just gotta keep moving the bar up and up.
After 29 logs (seriously) I got my fuel map looking ok. Per JayL's advice, I have been logging like a freak and it's actually lots of fun. I also changed my plugs out for brand new .025 gapped "laser platinum" ngk plugs and the car is running much better. I think that the AFR wierdness in the logs could possibly have been from misfires from my .45 gapped irridum plugs. This was due to no fault of the iridium plugs; I think it was the gap. The coils are either finicky or like a minimal gap.
After all those pulls and logs, I wore my front pads out. Joy! I hate those ******* pads anyways. I don't remember what they are, but they are something aggressive and they dusted like freaking mad. Also, I logged so damn hard that I busted the solder joints on my AIT sensor. The AIT sensor switches to "full cold" and I thought my car was broken until I figured out that it was reading an air temp of negative 4 degrees. I think all the megalogging may have broken my alternator which was running at full duty cycle and only putting out 13v :(

This is a link to my write up on how to upgrade from a walboro 255hp pump to a bosch 044 pump. I think that I have the only miata that is running an 044 in tank. Good lord, when I am forging a path you know that things are fucked up lol

Oh oh oh OH MY GOSH
WHAT IS THIS!!!

IT IS MY LITTLE PET ROBOT

Finally, my custom catch can thing has come in. Time to plumb this **** in between my slashcut. Actually though, after running sweet slashcut for a monthish for now, I think that the catch can is unnecessary. I have not seen a smoke screeen or smoke behind me when under WOT.

Last post of the night:
Check it out. After mad street fuel tunage session today I took a bunch of pics in some totally unoccupied place in baltimore. Why the hell are so many car photo shoots in industrial areas? I have no clue but that's where I ended up. The general vicinity being baltimore, the choice was boarded up ghetto or industrial area.
Here is my second pics thread:

Hmm yes, I am indeed a white man.
Just bought some ebay cxracing radiator. I don't think my stock one will last much longer. I thought about the FM radiator but that is 3x the price. I also would never make this my track car (Assuming I decided to build a track car).
