Oh MY..

I've been thinking of ways to clear that issue, perhaps some louvers to pull in air along the tunnel? I know my buddies dad did a similar setup with his RS, but then again the engine is in the back of those..

To look at this, use the excel filters. Yes, there is a big knock at the end of one of the pulls. I think it is from throttle lift right before I hit the limiter.

There is some little AFR lean spikes from dwell misfires. Yes, my fuel map is smooth. The Hydra really needs a dwell air temperature trim table.
The reason I chose a reputable well known tuner to time my car. 5 hours on the dump and no headaches, no hassles, no guess work, no worries!

Lawl.

So what's the hold up on the new t0rbo? I want to know your sp00l data. I have a feeling I wont make 300 on my churbo.. :(

Edit- Fae, call Jeremy and voice your concerns about the Dwell Air temperature trim map. If he's going to hold off on 2.7 foreverererererer you might as well see if they can push to get that in (or if they already have it in 2.7?)

Which churbo? Specs?

I am still running on the 3071. Great turbo. I think it could easily make over 400 with a tubular manifold and the right fuel or WI. My original hope was to make 500hp with it but the S5 mani stopped me.

Hydra 2.7 features are a done deal. I saw that there are a shitload of new trim maps including fuel temp, pressure, humidity, barometric pressure etc. **** yeah.

Where'd you find the features?! I must look over them

I have the BeGI "2871", I need to get dyno'd and have my timing worked on since it's FM stock I bet. With my ducting I have now I think it'll be much better on the dyno.

To do list:

Fuel:
  1. modify fuel tank lid for new fuel lines
  2. install AFPR
  3. new relay and wiring for fuel pump
  4. Retune AFRs.
  5. Calculate HP potential from duty cycles.

Stuff
  1. Methanol/WI system still not working. Figure out what to do.
  2. OBX diff
  3. Ebay manual boost controller
  4. 6 speed tranny when i find one for a decent price

I'd reorder my list to this

1. fix this:

2. buy useless random ****.

I don't know what the **** to do about that. On the road my AFRs are spiffy 11.7. On the dyno they were 10.8.

Ebay MBC will hopefully "fix" the 1-2psi variance I see with my current MBC. One day EBC will fix the boost sag.

That's not a 1-2psi variance.

Your log showed 20psi to redline?

do you have a cat?

Two separate issues: boost sag, and inconsistent boost.

My MBC was spiking to around 21-22psi, and then slowly tapering off to around 18psi.

Between runs on the dyno and on the street, I also see a 1-2psi variance between runs. Strangely, I don't have boost sag on the street.

The wild *** 30hp gap between pulls could have been due to other things. What? I don't know.

Was the ECU pulling timing or anything?

When I looked at your plots on screen, I thought that was the torque output and was highly impressed.

Nope. No knock, no timing pulled other than 1* from incorrect AIT due to heatsoaked sensor.

I think I pulled the stupidest HP plot ever.

Just bought this sick purplespec typechina MBC for twelve bucks. Let's see if it works better than the MBC I have now. I don't understand how to plumb this though. What the hell do I do with the tee and the two ports on the **** unit?

Also ordered a compression tester.
