Yes of course. didn't have time to put it back on yet. It won't be siliconed/torqued down though, just finger tight, per his request.
Gotta figure out a packaging solution for this bad boy. I'm thinking a big rubber storage tub/bin type enclosure? Or should I build a plywood box or something? Never shipped an engine before.

Alright so I was uncomfortable dumpster diving behind stores trying to snag a pallet, so finally found a local place that sells it, but they're 20 min away. Then my friend calls me yesterday says he's got a fresh pallet ready for me. Shweet. I pick it up today. Next to locate uber strong straps/tie-downs/something to fasten everything with.

Yep, I'm about to start daily driving it as soon as I'm done swapping back the stock engine. Its in the car already actually, just not hooked up.
I got guys really interested in buying it, so we'll see. If I don't get asking price I'll keep it until I do. Its an amazing miata, definitely one of the cleanest anywhere.

stock
ms was sold long ago. all engine stuff is back to stock.
on monday I'm gonna button everything up, clean it up, and daily the daylights outa it.
gonna go on an uber long twisties trip. I missed this thing
*edit: if you're still wondering, I'm still convinced it was the cam trigger. everything else looks perfect.
my pops is coming over to help me strap down the other engine to the pallet. we're gonna get a bunch of wood blocks and screws and really lock that sucker down

He did, with the cam from my spare head. I'm curious as to what Dopple ends up doing to make that engine run. I refuse to believe its something as simple as a cam trigger.
