Heading to the shop tonight after i pick up some trans oil and an alternator belt.
change 3 wires, install intake manifold/fuel lines and put the new AEM file i made onto the EMS and see if it will start.
Once i get it running, i will finish the other **** like exhaust and new seat mounts.
Going to run the car all motor for the rest of the year. If i can get it running that is. When i do, i will be taking it to the dyno to see what kind of numbers i can make with my custom intake manifold and VVT tuning. I will 100% need a 6 speed though. 5 speed and 3.636 rear without boost will be lame.

it doesnt look like it, but i got a ton done today.
i refinished my valve cover since i only primered it before. In memory of my VW GTI, i painted it Candy White. I love that color.

Hacked the flange off of the OEM header to fit a 3" pipe. Surprisingly good construction for an OEM header.

General cabin shot when im wiring to the EMS

Vinyl negatives and steel wook work great for logos!

Going forward, im still not happy with the wiring. I think that i would like to get some ECU plugs, an amphenol for the firewall and a summit racing chassis harness kit.
If anyone has any of those items, that would be great!

Can anyone confirm what size the factory fuel lines are in a miata?
I am ordering Tube to AN adapters so i can do my custom fuel rail with aeromotive FPR.
My hacked setup leaks and im not risking a fire.
Ordering these:

offered in: 3/8" and 5/16"

Just flare the lines. You can rent a brake line flare tool from Autozone/ insert silly wobble head parts store here, and buy the nuts and sleeves from Summit for super cheap. You get a perfect female AN joint to mate to that looks cleaner for cheaper.

These are the nuts. The sleeves are usually in the 'related items' section in each item page.
5/16 is -5AN which is going to be a little difficult to find. Measure YOUR lines to make sure they're both 5/16 OD and I'll be happy to see how miuch they will be from my local line/ fitting dude (superhero, really). Be aware that I've done this on several cars and never found one that was both 5/16 feed and return. Usually it's 3/8" feed and 5/16" return on Japanesy stuff.

I will look into it.
Im going to get the car running and then order all of this. Having the car towed into town from my shop so i can work on it when i have a second instead of spending 2 hours driving to do 2 hours work.

Bride reps. Fit good and sit REALLY low.

They are so legit.
Also made egr blockoff plates and random bracketry. Putting most little stuff on tomorrow and finishing the exhaust before I tow the car into town to do the finishing details. Hope to be driving in 2 weeks!
