I ran my charge pipe like that once, and the only bad thing that happened would have been when a coupler blew off IN the fender so it was a major PITA to fix on the side of the road. Nothing serious.

No problem doing your piping.
I just need to prioritize this project to meet the dyno date first.

Timing is around a month right now.

half finished the cold pipe.... decided i NEED to get the intake manifold done though... im not making my deadline of the 1st anyways.

off to make the throttle plate, hack the runners down a hair and start the plenum tonight.

This is the working version of a part i hope to produce. I am having CAD drawings of all of the parts made so I can make another 10 of them post dyno results.

Canadians don't need heat.

I also wasted my long weekend building the laundry room instead of tracking. So sad, but the weather sucks.

Word. I need to get cracking on my car... I know it... im just frustrated with it and lazy right now.

Plans would be nice to setup 10 production Vband turbo manifolds as well. Building them with 1.25" piping and 1.5" wastegate elbow.
Design will match my current manifold.

Starting my next turbo manifold in my down time while waiting for parts for my car.

right now its looking like it will be a 1.8 manifold in 1.25" shed 10 pipe with tial Vband inlet flange and ms-v. top mount ramhorn style. if anyone wants it, let me know. finish will be natural fine with the casting sanded off.

Don't forget to duct the front end and do the tie rod boots

Looks good, what is the solenoid thing on the passenger side fire wall?

I remember way back you were looking for some firewall plugs. I found a set that works! I ordered them from this guy on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...IF%3AUS%3A1123

They took close to a month to arrive, but they fit perfect.

Yah man- enjoy. Earl's actually sells premade grommets to run wire loom, I was browsing the site in my searches and stumbled accross them.

Car is fun to drive, but im bored of working on it (recently).

One of three thing may happen:

1. Part out and have money in the bank/ sell civic and get a nice daily.
2. Finish it on whatever time i feel like working on it.
3. Wait for a year and see how i feel then.

the whole driving an hour each way to work on it is annoying and probably the limiting factor on this mindset.

God dammit, I'm sick of people parting out build threads. I realize you may have your reasons, but for ***** sake, look ahead. What do you think is going to happen to your patience if you have build plans that might take up to a year, and a 2 hour commute to work on your car. You have three options:

1. move it closer
2. finish it enough to drive, and tinker at home when you have time.
3. buy me a plane ticket, buy me a baseball bat, and I'll come beat you over the head until you choose option 1 or 2.
