Well, the head required surfacing which worries me. I nver overheated the engine, I have never gone north of 195*f on water temp on the track. However i wonder if this is from the gauge reading inaccurately? I suppose the gauge reads consistently with the temp strips.

Anyway, I'm out of time so i now have to track the car with the potentially blown head-gasket.

This.

No way it'll warp in 200 miles, it's steel, the head is aluminum. If you think the head is fine, why the F would you think the block is warped? Just clean it well with a stone and clean out all the passages like you didn't do last time.

I used to worry about my car, then I stopped driving it.

Tonight's paranoia:
Will the oil cooler get enough air? I've been in bed for 2 hours thinking about this.

No it will all blow up at once, but not in Dallas. It will do it on your first session Saturday while your girlfriend watches. I will then pull up in my Boss and tell her to jump in. Then we f.u.c.k.

This is the worst build thread ever. It's like watching The View but with more complaining and twice the gay.

Just sell the car already....

You need to focus on empirical data. If you're worried about the oil cooler getting enough air, setup a few different ducting setups, including one completely blocking the thing. See if you can plug the oil temp into MS and log, log, and more log. See what works.

I wanted too but could not get to the track to test this out.

Yeah, but now it's going over my lost video game matches that keep me up at night, not if my car will explode.

Yes. That way you two can hold each other as you tremble with fear about your car and video games.
