Which parts of the pump needed to be trimmed?

Great stuff, beautiful rx-7, a real work of art. Those are some expensive clamps. Your car is looking nice, it is easy to appreciate attention to detail!!

The fittings/clamps are Pegasus clamps bought on e-bay. Just do a search for "pegasus clamp"

Thank you

The clamps are not that bad. Would have been worse if I had gone for the original ones.

Donīt know what brand they carry or what the quality or price is like. But they donīt have black ones just the usual red and blue. But if you are going to buy several fittings Summit is the plase. Earlīs for the same price as cheaper brands in Norway.

You can check out what you need, I have some black fittings left that Iīm not going to use. -8 and -10 AN

I think I would have stayed away from the Torshow hose ends. But you never know, they may work just fine.

I used -10 AN og the oil return from the turbo. Welded on a male bung on the "outlet tube" from the turbo.

A short video of the startup of the RX-7. The car is not tuned perfect, but it is getting there.

MASSIVE updatte

finally got the settings sorted and started the car yesterday. My own car uses the old cas system, but this one has the crank trigger and a 1-2 pulse intake cam sync pulse. so it was a new thing for me getting that to work.
But we got it started within hours of our first attempt
