+1 to all of Shuiend's posts. I use the pipe from my jack, slip it over the end of the breakerbar or ratchet, and make sure you're on the nut good so you don't strip it. If you're not breaking something or getting the nut off you need a longer pipe.

Before I do anymore damages (cause the bolt is starting to strip), I'll talk to some of the members of the Miata club tonight at the meet.

So the bolt ended up stripping.. and the tail pipe bracket snapped. So, the headers & midpipe are off now. Question, do I need to removed that bracket which is bolted on to the trans?
