I'm not using the ES grease, I'm using the copper permatex recommended by Bob Bundy. It is suuuuuch a mess. But thanks for the encouragement, that does help.
Aidan, yes I should be working on it that day for at least part of the day. Hopefully part of the day will be driving the S2k as well

Bought this.

Aidan is gonna help me finish it. Glad I could snag it, wouldn't have seen it without him. Not exactly the best time for me to spend the money but the deal and item were right.
Woot.
Some moments I feel like I can do this. Some moments I feel like I'm in wayyyyyy too deep.

Still at my house. Will have it to paint by the end of May. Gonna be a busy month with my parents moving out here and such... Plus I'd like to actually drive the S2k a bit next month.

Was trying to organize the garage some today and found this. There was some doubt as to whether my engine had a BE pump or not, but Josh and I assumed it did based on the rest of the build.
Doubt no more.

The race pumps are machined out for even bigger gears, plus porting and stuff. Deets here: http://fab9tuning.com/index.php?opti..._id=20&lang=en
Our pump specs are pretty close to the same other than mine is the "street/strip" variety.

They said to expect it to cost in the neighborhood of $300
To others who have done the 3.6 swap, is that normal? Sounds high, but then again I don't fully understand the process. I'll be bringing the diff out of the car obviously, this is just the cost to swap the gear ratios in the diff.
