Looks like cyl 4 has a low compression rod! Cool that the pistons seem to have been ok, that was my experience as well when I bent stock rods long time ago. However unlike you, after I bent 2 rods, I spray another 20 bottles of nitrous through it, then turbo'd it for a year @ 17 PSI boost. LOL

Hmmm, does anyone remember what kind of locktite I used on my clutch and flywheel? Pretty sure I followed Vlad's standard method. I wonder if I should heat this stuff?
Oh well progress anyway.
Looks like I need a better drivers side motor mount.

I finally finished what seemed like the unending task of scraping and cleaning the oil pan. There were 2 different kinds of sealant and way too much, it was even all over the baffle and pick up tube. Then with the threat of old sealant on the bolts from the FSM.
Next time I am sending the pan out to be cleaned and buying new bolts.

No no, no.
Just use a clean glove and spread it where it needs to seal. You don't need any in the oil pan and block bolt holes or on the pick up tube. Or running down the inside of the oil pan for that matter, sheesh, there's probably some throwing off the balance of the crank. That block and crank are going out to be hot tanked.

So my relatively new pilot bearing feels fubared and looks like it spewed some of it's grease. I have the level 2 bearings from FM. The throwout bearing is solid though.
I think sitting at the starting line revving to 4500 is too much, even for the 6202 RS. Does anyone have a suggestion? My only idea is to carefully pry the seals off and put some stickier grease instead of what comes in there.
Any thoughts appreciated, thanks.

Need to put this together and on.
Any thoughts on what orientation the oil warmer should be in, 12 o'clock between both tubes? I have seen some different images and the new block was in a different orientation. I want some new hoses, so maybe I should get them before I tighten the the thing down.

While I wait for a few things, I decided to satisfy everyone's curiosity. This is what happens when you put too much pressure on your rod growing up in SF.
