Throttle body icing most commonly happens between 60 and 70F and 80% or more humidity.

Looking forward to seeing what you do this Wednesday night!

No race this week, they have the track reconfigured for you road race guys or something. Total BS, why can't they just keep you guys on the little drift track

That is correct. But he can get real tires.

Not going to the east bay, I will be more likely to fill up at Army and the 101 there. Not sure I have enough injector without a pump and regulator anyway. If there is a new station in Marin I will upgrade.

We will see what happens, I still have a few tricks up my sleeve. No not tires.

Turned about 100 miles today, I have brought it up to 6k and 11psi or so now. It runs a very quiet knock log compared to my old motor. Feels great and I couldn't be happier.
Thanks everyone!

Well I fugged something up. I was running up some boost and I got some spark blow out around 22psi. That is why the lost sync at the drag strip too I think. Still seems to run fine but it's missing at idle a little and now it seems like my themostat is sticking too. Hopefully I didn't blow my head gasket somehow. Oh well, I will poke around some tomorrow. Still super fast though and doesn't smoke at all, now sure what to think exactly.

Luckily I was in GGP when that shiat happened, so there were plenty of unicorns around.
I pulled the plugs and #4 was wet with fuel, the rest looked normal. The thermostat was super sticky, I wonder if I don't use enough water wetter? I was getting hot enough to go back to WUE because I have it set to come on for hot starts. That and I think the misty weather was causing milkshake in my catch can, which totally freaked me out. Even though I have told many people that it is not unusual I guess it's different when it's your own car.

Nothing new that I am aware of. I have 12+ fuel cans that I use to fill up in Berkley.

Congrats on the new setup!

Yes stock coils, I ran them to 29psi before, but at a much higher rpm and with leaky rings. This was around 4500, I used to keep it under 15psi below 5000. I also tried different plugs, so I bought a set of BKR7E's on the way home from work to see if it's any different.

Is there some super easy plug and play upgrade, like I dunno, pop some FD leading coils on there? I probably have some in my mom's garage.

Already thinking about those coils. The iridium plugs are the new ones I tried, BKR7EIX. About to change them back to see if there is any difference. I think SadFab makes a nice bracket for those coils too.

Faaaak! My head gasket is blowing donkey dicks. That's not fuel on my #4 plug, it's water
Fast as faaaak though, oh well, the head is coming back off. My log does show a 239° before I noticed that I was having a problem. Should have been paying more attention, I ain't too upset though, this thing is meant to be broken.
