I legitimately can't figure out how the leftists don't see the **** they are doing as fascist as hell? Joe Perez you're a not entirely gone lefty, how do they justify this crap in their minds?

 

If you would clarify "the **** they are doing" I will try to explain my mindset as a "leftist" assuming you are actually interested in the other sides viewpoint.

The fact that I am critical of former president Trump and his fan-club does not mean that I am a liberal. I am equally critical, if not more so, of the Biden / Harris / Pelosi trio and their growing army of supplicants.

I've even managed to suppress my natural attraction towards redheads in positions of political power.



But, as to what you asked, my perception is this:

1: To a liberal, anything which you support is morally correct, and anything you oppose is morally wrong.

2: To a liberal, concepts such as Nazism and Fascism don't refer to oppressive behaviors, they refer to opinions which are morally wrong (eg: in disagreement with what "I" believe.) Because, remember, FEELINGS matter more than reality.

3: Thus, conservatives are *****, and it's ok to use brutally oppressive tactics to suppress their speech and actions. Free speech (and all other liberties) apply only to people who are morally correct.

Just one topic:
--open border
--not testing for Covid, while forcing vaccines on the rest of us
--not testing for ANY communicable diseases, or checking current vaccinations (big measles outbreak in CA pre-Covid, because of illegal immigrants)
--kids in cages
--busing border-crossers all over the country in Greyhound buses and airplanes
--helping drug cartels by keeping the border open (drug busts have increased dramatically)
--helping human trafficking and sex slavery by keeping the border open
--releasing border-crossers without a court appointment

That's just one issue, off the top of my head.
