I literally live in the most R state in the country. We have a state income tax that is more than 5%. When we introduced the lottery and casinos, Republican's didn't increase funding to schools and infrastructure, they gave tax breaks to oil and gas who didn't need them and did nothing to help education and infrastructure funding. The "no federal tax" frittatas are never worried about ending our income tax. Because politicians on both sides are more worried about staying in power than doing something.

And I live in Lefty California. Gavin Newsom is just the face of our fascist, Socialist state. We are the poster child for fascism, with Google / Facebook / Twitter / Apple and all the other big tech companies that are ready to bend an algorithm in order to get a potted plant elected. But it's THEIR potted plant! And Big Pharma here jumps just as high as the government tells them, because their bonuses are tied to FDA approvals Medicare approvals and squashing drugs that don't make money (Ivermectin, HCQ, etc.)
Oh, and THANK GAWD Algore created the internet!!! Where would we be without the innovations of the government? I suppose Elon Musk would have had to move his rocket launch from the Cape to some Indian reservation if our government wasn't so forward thinking...

My point about SpaceX is that THEY'RE firing people into space. NASA can't even make a space suit right now, and hopefully they'll ask for HELP from Musk. BTW, I stood outside and watched a very cool rocket launch Tuesday from Vandenburg AFB. Elon Musk was launching another 40+ satellites into orbit for "the government's" internet. Sure, they helped subsidize it, but at the same time the rocket looked down at 50,000+ homeless drug addicts and mentally ill in Los Angeles. That issue is definitely government-created.

Living here in CA, I can tell you this was a deliberate strategy which was openly promoted by the democrats as a failsafe to keep a democrat in office should the recall have passed. What was amazing to me was how hard it was for them to explain that their own constituents. Why is it so hard to understand "Go ahead and vote NOT to recall the jackass, but just in case he does get the boot, at least go ahead and choose another dem to replace him."

What's great about this article is that it doesn't contradict Joe's estimates, because 98.3% = 54%!!! Joe was right all along. The vaccine is incredibly effective in keeping you out of the hospital!!!

Well the strategy worked. Newsome gained voter share from his 2018 election despite 25% of petitioners being from his own party. That's how much we love: Lockdown hypocrisy, skyrocketing crime, homeless camps, insane COL, population loss, wildfires, keeping kids from schooling, and blackouts! It's for our own good to endure these these because voting for Larry Elder is a vote against Diversity and for White Supremacy.
The vote tally will tighten. After just one day of counting the ballots (after the election) that were mailed in but not processed, there was a 3% shift towards Elder. The question will be whether it gets below the 62% received 3 years ago.

The sheriff's office says Jones has repeatedly violated his bond, which a judge revoked in a Tuesday hearing. The Democratic lawmaker now faces two additional felony charges—attempting to escape police custody and smuggling a weapon into a jail.
In a statement Wednesday, Murphy said Jones is "an embarrassment to all elected officials" who "thinks somehow the laws do not apply to him."
The 26-year-old representative, who became the youngest person elected to the state legislature in 2016, was arrested on drunk driving charges in April. During the traffic stop, Jones resisted arrest, and law enforcement pepper-sprayed and tased the government official, according to a police report. The lawmaker also threatened to report the officers to Democratic governor Gretchen Whitmer, saying, "It's not going to be good for you" and "I run y'all budget."
Jones's arrest is only the latest controversy for the Michigan lawmaker. Earlier this year, Jones spent more than $200 in campaign funds at a strip club, according to a July financial disclosure.

your personal right to swing your arm ends where my right not to get killed by an infectious disease begins. So therefore you have no right to swing your arm, and you must get a vaccine to protect the vaccinated who do not want to get killed by an infectious disease.
The vaccine is only affective if we all take it, because we are not protected against the unvaccinated. therefore the only ethical and moral option is to mandate it.
