It's a city thing. All stop-n-go, rarely above 30 mph. In the winter, the engine never even gets up to operating temp.
This would really be the ideal place for a plug-in hybrid drivetrain or a pure-battery EV. But Nissan didn't offer the Juke with either one, and the Miata still has life in it.

So, Florida governor Ron DeSantis (R) is now being dragged through the mud by various left-biased media outlets, on account of the fact that he said "I welcome support from African-Americans."
Specifically, he said this in response to a question concerning Elon Musk's purported support of a DeSantis run for the 2024 Presidential election. Because Musk, who was born and raised in Africa, to African parents, and then moved to America to attend college, is apparently not an African-American to them. Because that's a lefty dogwhistle term which means "Black" without actually saying "Black," and whether a black person has ever been to Africa or not has no bearing on them being African-American.

Anyway, this thread makes me happy that this forum is mostly not in clown world. I'll try to be less scarce. Also i'll need help because its been almost a decade since I have messed with megasquirt.
Anyway, clown world memes are great and allow us to laugh, because the alternative is to cry.

It's going to be hilarious if it turns out that the leaked draft opinion in Dobbs v. Jackson was actually just a huge troll, and the Court is planning to not merely affirm Roe v. Wade, but to somehow also interpret it as also protecting access to gender-affirming medical treatment for confused children.

Mind you, USA Today is one of the most frequency-cited sources of "fact checking" by platforms such as Facebook, and has an entire section of its website devoted entirely to fact-checking.
"After receiving an external correction request, USA Today audited the reporting work of Gabriela Miranda," said an editor's note written by USA Today's managing editor of standards, Michael McCarter. "The audit revealed that some individuals quoted were not affiliated with the organizations claimed and appeared to be fabricated. The existence of other individuals quoted could not be independently verified. In addition, some stories included quotes that should have been credited to others."
"As a result," the note added, "USA Today removed 23 articles from its website and other platforms for not meeting our editorial standards."McCarter's note included a list of stories that were removed. Readers who click on those links now see an editor's note that says the article "has been removed from our platforms because it does not meet our standards."Some of the stories by Miranda appeared in the print version of the daily paper. A spokesperson for the newspaper said that, as a result, the editor's note will appear in print on Friday.USA Today said that Miranda, who was a breaking news reporter, had resigned. Miranda could not be immediately reached for comment.
The New York Times was first to report the news about the internal probe.USA Today said that it strives "to be accurate and factual" and that it "regret this situation."
The newspaper said that it will, as a result, improve its process for those who want to "lodge complaints or request corrections" and it will "ensure stories have clear and sufficient identifying information for individuals quoted."
