I guess if lead poisoning won't do it hope they get Legionnaires disease. Sucks to be a Flint resident right now. Maybe by the time the involved parties get done pointing fingers at each other they will have at least fixed it.

But I doubt it.

Good read nonetheless; Emails: State mum on Flint Legionnaires? warning

Braineak, I want to know HOW a 30 hour work week is shown on these employment graphs, since the rules of the game have been changed.

The big thing I remember about the first four years--besides the trillion dollars + that went to government unions instead of "shovel ready jobs", is the fear and uncertainty that was sown by the administration. Not one business knew what was going to happen or what new rules would be mandated the next week, let alone the next year.

It froze business and still, STILL, people aren't sure whether what Obama did was on purpose or not.

Some of us are sure. Incompetence can only account for so much.

Unfortunately, the Bill of Rights did not protect the Right to Party, which is why you've still got to fight for it.

They still need people to make the food though (for now).

A well written article on the subject of Iraq given the aftermath of the Saturday night debate.

America's unlearned lesson: the forgotten truth about why we invaded Iraq

"In March 2002, Bush dropped into a meeting between National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice and three senators to tell them, "**** Saddam. We're taking him out.""

This article confirmed, at least to me, my suspicions that George W was really just guilty of being a **** poor judge of character in his selection of top advisors. How sad that we're now in the situation we are.

Guilty of the same thing George W was, and add a dose of ego (W developed his ego once he became President, IMO). Much like after Vietnam, the pendulum swings to the other side until after a bit there's no energy left and it settles for a bit. Then some event happens and poof. Assad knows this as does Putin.

he'll meet and applaud racist, criminal thugs, but won't even pay his respects to a Supreme Court justice at his funeral.

In the grand scheme, Scalia was just an obstacle. Now that he is out of the way, it is time to move forward with the agenda.

It is one thing to not agree with someone. When you're the president, you need to put that **** aside and respect the office. People wonder why we dont respect him.

I wish I had a low IQ and could live life like a moron too. It's gotta be so awesome to not understand big concepts and believe in unicorns.
