Anyway, things that matter to us...
As we all well know, much of the traditional, so-called "mainstream" print media tends to exhibit something of a left-leaning bias. But I've come to realise that using "mainstream media" as an epithet tends to imply that non-mainstream media is not similarly biased.
Well, depending on whether you consider Gizmodo to be mainstream or not.
I say all of this because they just put up a hit-piece which attacks an Executive Order presently being drafted by the president, which basically recognizes the fact that large social-media companies (FB, Twitter, etc) have become instruments of mass communication, and thus holds them to the same standards as common-carriers. In other words, it forbids them from censoring the speech of those who use the service.
In part, Gizmodo observes:
That's an interesting interpretation, largely because it presupposes that the Terms of Service is incapable of being written so as to impart a certain ideological bias.
Does anyone here think that the Terms of Service for Sina Weibo or Toudou Youku (two popular Chinese social media platforms) are free of ideological bias?

In part, Gizmodo observes:
To be clear, there is no evidence that social media networks are actively engaged in deliberate censorship of any particular political point of view. They (sometimes) enforce their own respective terms of service agreements that oftentimes prohibit content that includes hate speech or calls to violence. For some, that’s a political ideology.

uh huh.
How exactly did the death of Epstein save Trump? The person whom gave the FBI tons of information about him. The person whom kicked him out of his club at first allegation. the person he's been talking negatively about for years, and even during the 2016 debates. The person whom never took many/any trips to pedo island with him.
How exactly? Cause CNN told you? Because if Epstein bad, and Orange Man Bad, then Orange Man must have ties to other bad man.
Epstein's suicide is shock to no one; even while on suicide watch during 24/7 surveillance. I think I alluded to him being murdered soon just a few posts ago (15346). He was buddies with the Clintons. The Clintons suicide people. This is cut and dry.
You guys seriously tried to link him to ***** because 60 years ago a **** liked a Hamburger when in the US. We see through it all you know...

Did someone claim that it did? If so, I missed it in this thread.
Who are "you guys" in this context?
While there are many variations on the story of the invention of the hamburger, one of the earliest and most credible reports traces its ancestry back to a Hamburg, Germany, cook named Otto Kuase, who in 1891 was celebrated for a sandwich made with a beef patty cooked in butter, topped with a fried egg.

What is with the left's weird obsession with Trump? You guys seriously tried to link him to ***** because 60 years ago a **** liked a Hamburger when in the US.

Seriously, dude. When you're posting something seemingly random, which is intended as a response to a post on a previous page, you need to give us some sort of context for understanding it.
One of the few features which IB hasn't managed to destroy on the forum software is the quote function, which allows you to easily reference an earlier post when replying to it.
Also, I made the Epstein / Clinton joke earlier today. See post 15371. You're late.
