"I believe that the movement against asbestos was led by the mob, because it was often mob-related companies that would do the asbestos removal. Great pressure was put on politicians, and as usual, the politicians relented,” - Trump

Jennifer Hudson and some of her family members have been staying as Donald Trump‘s guests at his new Trump International Hotel & Tower in Chicago since last month’s murder of her mother, brother and nephew, and are “very safe” there
Heroism occurs everyday in the workplace, with workers doing what's right without ever expecting to be rewarded. And then there are those too-rare occasions when a good deed gets due recognition. Donald Trump has decided to give a $10,000 gift to a bus driver in Buffalo, N.Y., who helped save a woman from taking her own life last month.
This is the memoir of a female engineer who rose to the top of the male dominated Construction business in New York City in the 1970s and 80s. During her time as an engineer in the field on construction projects, the author encountered sexual discrimination, harassment and intimidation. Undeterred, she achieved a position as the first woman to be in charge of the construction of a major skyscraper, the Trump Tower on 5th Avenue. The book is filled with interesting stories about what goes on at construction projects and what it takes to build a building in New York.
A Donald Trump supporter who claimed to be Miss Wisconsin 2005 thanked the GOP front-runner in an emotional moment at a Tuesday rally for his help as she struggles with an incurable disease.
She thanked Trump for sending her a handwritten note and said it lifted her spirits after she decided to sign a "Do Not Resuscitate" order as her condition worsened.
She also thanked Trump for the fame that came with her pageant experience, which she said helped her son secure a scholarship.

In mid-August 2015, a number of web sites reproduced a story about business magnate (and 2016 Republican presidential hopeful) Donald Trump’s having responded to the pleas of the parents of a critically ill 3-year-old Jewish boy, using his private jet to ferry the child from Los Angeles to New York for medical treatment after commercial airlines declined to carry the boy

I guess I need to pack it up. The tolerant left finally got to me....
Adventuresome morning today! Mary Ann and I went to First Watch in Richardson for a quick breakfast but it was not to be.
First, we were approached by a manager who let us know that customers were very distressed by my shirt and that children might see it. I expressed deep sympathies and let her know that explaining “grab ‘em by the *****” and golden showers to my daughter was equally unpleasant. A Latino woman checking me out tells me she loves my shirt and I thanked her.
Again as we were being seated she expressed that a particular group of customers was suffering due to my indescribable poor taste. I replied that I did not see the problem.
As we are seated two African-American workers individually tell me how cool the shirt is. One of them states that the people did not tell their server - a person of color - their complaint. They requested the manager, a white person, to complain to. I personally did not witness this but that is what I was told.
Our drinks are served and our order is taken.
Then one of the cooks comes to the table and very apologetically explains the owners have been called and we are being asked to leave. We ask to tip our server for occupying her table, get drinks to go and leave. One table of white people applauds.
We are stopped in the parking lot by one of the African American servers who had stopped to comment on the shirt. If I understand correctly, he was quitting the job on the spot over us being asked to leave. He told us: “you should hear these people asking not to be seated near Muslims.”
So we get in the car and start to leave ...
... as the Richardson police pull up outside. I stop the car and ask the officer if she is there over a t-shirt. She affirms this to be true and asks my name which I respectfully decline to give; she starts in on the shirt - whereupon I cite Cohen v. California, 1971, in which the Supreme Court upheld the right to wear a T-shirt saying: **** THE DRAFT. She’s like: just leave, okay?
MAJOR TAKEAWAYS:
1. If your kids can’t handle the word “****” they are going to have a really tough time in this world.
2. Compared to racism, bigotry, misogyny and collusion with a foreign power, “****” gleams with cleanliness and purity. Treating Muslims and people of color, LGBTQ and women as “less than” is the real filth and harm to our country.
3. Everywhere I go with this shirt, white males sneer and people of color smile and give me thumbs up. I think it is very worthwhile to let people of color know they are not alone - that some whites also see the evil of racism is resurgent - and we will fight with our brothers and sisters of color against it.
4. Regarding the restaurant - I’m fine with being asked to leave and I don’t urge a boycott. These things are never easy for businesses, and the workers were polite and professional. Besides, we hope to be back soon...
5. Challenge authoritarianism anywhere and everywhere ... otherwise, it wins.

An arrest warrant has been issued for the man police say vandalized the New Mexico GOP headquarters. Over the weekend surveillance cameras caught someone spray-painting the building near I-25 and Paseo Del Norte with the words, “Still traitors.”Police say an anonymous tip led them to Cameron Chase McCall. According to the arrest warrant, McCall is heavily involved with the Democratic Party and KRQE News 13 learned he is an employee at Expo New Mexico.
Expo New Mexico says they are reviewing the allegations. McCall is charged with felony criminal damage because the cost to remove the spray paint is expected to cost about $4,000.

There are many Americans, who vote, who do not believe that literally hearing voices in their head, and acting upon them based upon a belief that this is the will of a supernatural being, is at all unusual. They consider it evidence of divine province.
This should be a disturbing fact, however it's actually something which the extreme-right internalize as part of their campaign platform.
Both hardcore Democrats and hardcore Republicans are equally crazy, in remarkably different ways.

Maybe not including God* in government would be even better than either of the above?
* God can also be interpreted as Allah, Jechovah, Yahweh, Ba'al, Baphomet, Satan, the Flying Spaghetti Monster, or any other fictional supernatural entity who commands humans to do their bidding for the purposes of this comment.

REEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Christiane Amanpour: “What about, though, the fact that the president seems liberated, and this is about democratic politics so I’m not asking you to criticize here, but he was acquitted, his poll ratings are high…”
Nancy Pelosi: “He was not… there was no… You can’t have an acquittal unless you have a trial, and you can’t have a trial unless you have witnesses and documents. So he can say he’s acquitted, and the headlines can say ‘acquitted,’ but he’s impeached forever, branded with that, and not vindicated.”

Charles Barry, 56, has been arrested six times since the start of this year. He’s been released each time without having to post bail under New York’s new bail reform law since his alleged offenses were nonviolent, the New York Daily News reported. In the past, Barry’s served several stints in state prison and has a lengthy record, including six felonies, 87 misdemeanors and 21 missed court hearings, the newspaper reported, citing court records.
“Bail reform, it’s lit!” Barry yelled to reporters Thursday outside the NYPD Transit District 1 headquarters in the Columbus Circle station before officers transported him to Manhattan Central Booking. “It’s the Democrats! The Democrats know me and the Republicans fear me. You can’t touch me! I can’t be stopped!”
NYC subway thief thanks Democrats after his 139th arrest, release: 'Bail reform, it’s lit!'

"I can't even envision a situation where he would be reelected." according to the wisdom of Nancy Pelosi.
Honestly I can't figure out if she is delusional and needs to be in a straight jacket or if she is just so much of a liar that she is actually starting to believe her own mouth spewage.
Didn't Trump say one time that she is a boon to the Republican party by being a Democrat?
Personally I am neither a Republican or Democrat but wonder how somebody this delusional can remain in office.
