The AMP connector from Eastern Beaver is a Econoseal series connector.

On that post, there's one broken picture (perhaps my fault if I moved something around on smugmug) so I can't verify.

The connector right before the crank sensor that you ask what it is but turns out to be the same connector as the crank.... IS the crank connector, from another angle. So good job getting the same answer. If you go back and edit post, just lump 'em together.

and in post nr. 52 I assumed that the VICS connector is a

SUMITOMO 62 sealed series connector
Sumitomo 62 sealed series 090(2.3mm) 2 Position Female Housing [Gray] [6098-0135] : New United Race Tech, New United Race Tech

Though I mus say that I am not sure about the that one...

Boy, I'm right there with you - it sure looks right, but it also looks different. I guess I can go carefully measure the sizes. It just looks more detailed (more stuff in teh center of the connector?, and the added holes (for pin removal?)) but otherwise is seems right on. Like the made a plug which meets spec but is different.

2-Way Receptacle Kit

Is that the one? If so, add it to spread sheet and order it. :-)

I don't think this is the correct one...

AbeFM 02-13-2013 03:46 PM

Not to say you're wrong, you really seem to have an eye for this, but what jumps out at you about it?

Zaphod 02-13-2013 04:39 PM

Some things...

The "wings" on the back of the connector are different,
The "notches(?)" for the side guidances are too high up (have a look how far down they are at the pics of your VICS connector
The recess of the bottom of the connector...

Miater 02-18-2013 07:27 PM

Anyone have any info on interior connectors? I'm needing the window switch harness side connector. 99.

Any body have one?

AbeFM 02-19-2013 01:44 PM

I've been doing a little talking, and there's a small chance that, with lots of begging, pleading, and convincing him of the enormous profit potential, we might be able to convince 949 to stock connectors if we can finish our list.....

Does anyone have more info about where to buy them currently other than what's already on the spreadsheet?
-Abe.

Sorry can't help you there -because over here in Europe it's quite difficult to find even the connectors that are "standard" in the U.S.

AbeFM 02-20-2013 03:04 AM

Where ever people are getting them is fine. I know Leafy ordered a bunch.

krissetsfire 02-25-2013 01:41 AM

I need a IAC Female, TPS Female, and a VICS female connector for a 99. Is there anyone who can provide all these? It sucks every connector place has a $20 minimum and each connector seems to be at a different vendor.

VICS - ????
TPS - Yazaki 7283-1133-10
IAC - AMP - 184000-1 TE

krissetsfire 02-25-2013 10:05 AM

You know what else would be nice is to know what other vehicles had these connectors and what years match up... I know that's a whole other ball of wax but If I can go to the pick n pull and snatch some of these off a kia i'd be a happy camper. Maybe i'll look into it a little later. Food for thought though.

It's easy to find kia's in u pull it. Miatas on the otherhand :-/

Zaphod 02-25-2013 11:26 AM

Try Toyota's - a lot of them connectors are also to be found on different Toyota's...

Leafy 02-27-2013 12:52 AM

Found something really awesome. Subaru TGV sensors are the same as NB TPS sensors. Bolt right to an NB throttle body, and the connector plugs right in. Only discovered this because I have two of those sitting on my coffee table right next to an NB throttle body and my room mate pointed out that they look very similar to the NB tps. Pretty sure they are the exact same part, if not they're at least physically the same.

AbeFM 03-01-2013 12:22 PM

Huh. I guess we could add a collum for what-else-does-it-fit.

I am pretty sure we could get some interested local miata vendor to stock all this stuff (many of the best shops race, and want the connectors themselves anyways) once we have a complete enough list... however, we don't want to put them in the same boat of minimum order size. So telling them to "add one more part" is less likely to happen compared to showing them the full list and letting them make one large order.

The remaining "important" plugs are these:

VICS
MAF
IAC
Fans

Can anyone define 'where we're stuck' well enough that I can help? :-)

Leafy 03-01-2013 12:24 PM

Oh I did a bit more checking last night because my room mate had the TPS from his skunk 2 on his desk. The model numbers arent the same on the TPSs and the initial clocking of the part that goes on the shaft is a little different.

Miater 03-01-2013 01:03 PM

Can anyone please ID the connector for the power windows in a 99? Desperate here.

Zaphod 03-01-2013 02:15 PM

Which one? The one inside the center console or the ones inside the doors?

Miater 03-01-2013 03:52 PM

The one in the center console.

krissetsfire 03-02-2013 10:58 AM

These vehicles are equipped with TPS Sensor 5S5067 or TH207, and.... TPS457

I searched for cars with connector 7283-1133-10 and came across a jap website referencing 9th gen toyota corolla. I then searched for the carolla's tps sensor and found it belongs to a few other vehicles. I also then stumbled upon another TPS sensor from toyota that also has the same connector on it (as far as I can tell). I then plugged in said subi tps TH294 and....

I'm not going to reference the different models because that's just ridiculous. If you can't find one of these at a pick an pull then you are stupid and should not be driving cars.
