Received my first BMC premium flange, it is well worth the extra cost. Will be starting over on it for my manifold.

Just like mine, but yours won't have the cracks for that "Old Truck" sound, cause you are going to weld it correctly. Turbo location same as well. Works great to fit everything.

For some reason, I thought you were buildiing a tubular, rather than a log?

Are you planning to cut the flange between ports?

I will be beveling the next manifold I make.

First manifold is done, downpipe is tacked together and fits a NA. 2.5" V-Band downpipe inlet to a 3" V-band outlet.

Can you post a picture of the block side of the flange with the pipe welded? Is your thru hole ID same as the pipe ID? I probably would have overbored the thru hole to match the pipe OD and threw a fillet weld on the insid to prevent moisture from penetrating the inside flange/pipe seam. You wouldn't need the expensive counterbore or weld prep other than cleaning then either.

Then the flange would not match the ports. This flange has a machined transition that goes oval to round, the oval side matches the head ports, and the round matches 1 1/4" fitting ID. The flange to fitting welds are fillets.

That setup looks like it could handle some track torture.

First MKTurbo.com setup is complete. Basic log manifold with a T3 Chinacharger made to clear AC/PS. 2.5" v-band outlet at the turbo which expands 3" v-band out at the midpipe. 3" all the way back with a huge magnaflow muffler to keep noise down.

The 2.5" DP is for clearance?

Any more pictures of the bends at the exhaust. I need to buy some stuff and it would be helpful to see how you did it.

The outlet of the turbo is 2.5" so I went with that until I had enough clearance to expand up to 3".

Below is how I have the bends going into the muffler.
