my tube front drifter
****. Is there anything you didn't get or didn't do to this car?
I don't think I have ever seen a Miata with THIS much stuff done to it. At least not all at one time. Still looking good!

psiturbo is just trolling...oh yeah and jealous. Dude your build rocks, it is inspiring to see what can be done with the proper tools. I wish I had the machinery at my disposal that you do. But then again, you have to have the talent to use the equipment. Keep it up!!

intercooler had to come off to have the iat sensor bung welded in, because of how tight the couplers are, the compressor housing has to come off along with the TB
, also i mounted the oil thermostat. now im waiting on fedex..... they shoulda been here today
Very valid point... Thusly why I am having someone do the front end for me. He did a tube front on a buddy of mines MKIV Supra that was SUPERB! Couple of pics below... How much weight do you figure you lost by doing this? Even though I know that was not your ULTIMATE goal...

no idea on weight. i took some out then added some, then took some out. who knows, everything i put on i tried to keep light. the turbo stuff adds a bit of weight.
see i originaly wanted the tubes to connect the my front hoop, and tie into the dash bar(they follow the fender line) like on the supra. but that super hard to do on the miata, you need to move the master cyl . thats why we gusseted the hoop instead.

Ah... Thanks for the heads up on that man. Didn't even think about that. But I will be running floor mounted pedals with remote reservoirs so it shouldn't be a big problem. Keep up the good work man and like you said before, don't rush anything. That's just how you end up having to fix stuff down the road.
Hey nice build man!
Whats the scoop on all the -AN fuel fittings and lines? I am also looking to go with all black fittings for my fuel system.
Is that black stainless braided lines or another material? Where did you order them?
