I don't know if its cool or I'm pissed to see another turbo miata pop up in CT....:vash:
J/K dude, build looks sick. Ohh, and getting your car "jacked" in CT is highly unlikely. Vash- Btw cars do get stolen in CT. Especially around Waterbury, Hartford, Bridgeport, New Haven, etc. Maybe not so much Miatas, but I have seen alot of Hondas over the years. At the last Honda-Tech meet at Marcus Dairy in Danbury:giggle:, two cars were stolen afterwards. I dont go to those meets, but a couple friends of mine did. I only have one Honda now. It's bone stock and thats the way its staying. Attachment 210326 Attachment 210327 Attachment 210328 |

I think it was just a test fitting. I'm sure the final outer tie-rod to knuckle fitting will look great.

CTDRIFTNA - Badass build!! Props on doing the machining yourself! |
yeah i never got around to taking a pic of the final spacers, i made nice aluminum ones with radiused ends so they dont bind

Vash- Fucking crackheads in that town. |
the wheels and fenders are gay as fuck, but the rest of the car is cool...especiallythe interior.
|
OP: Did you flow that head BEFORE the port work, by chance?

Looks like you did good work. Wonder what the weight savings is and how the stiffness compares to factory unibody.
I love reading on this drift shit, always makes for a good laugh. I love the "its driving your car right on the edge" arguments. Ive never understood ********, but if thats your thing, good luck. It kind of reminds me of the whole fast and the furious street racing scene that was big when the first movie came out. Everyone and their brother had a wing and euro lights on their civic and farted around town trying to race each other. Still see some left overs today. Yes I know the bullshit history of ********, I dont want to hear it again. |
car looks really good like the build question.. i'm too lazy to read the whole thread but have you drifted before...
|
Sick build up. Awesome car.
Lol@ the pages of ******** hate. Its one thing to hate on some dumb kids that want to mad jdm driftz like a moron, its another when a person spends this much money and apparently takes it to the track. Its his hobbie, hes a car guy just like us- let him be. |
nice looking build, why waste it on concrete walls? It is going to rip like a bat out of hell for sure (if done correctly), but if it does end up biting the bullet, sell it here first :)

I subjectively wasted a weekend to go watch a 'drift" event with an open mind and I must say, was the biggest waste of time. There were a ton of nice looking cars when we got there... by the time we left there were a ton of trashed cars. Might as well have turned it into a demo derby. One guy I actually know purposely slammed his unmolested 240 into a wall because he wanted "battle scars." God what a dumbfuck. :bang:

Its horrible ripping it up into a shrinking radius turn and rowing your arm away. You look like you are doing things right here though man!! Awesome |
