You using the dual stage stock factory stat?

I had this issue with an Stant thermostat. Switched to the mazda one and all is well now.

That 5th picture kinda shows it all, aren't those ducts getting no direct air? Unless you're drifting, I would think that mounting them a little further inward would result in a more straight-on section of bumper plastic, and therefore more direct air flow to the ducts. Too late now I guess.

IF they aren't getting air, a tinsy little ridge/lip out on the outter edge will probably give him all the air he needs

They will be getting air just fine I presume. Mounting them anymore inboard would require very serious modification of metal and crash parts - wasn't looking for that. I may be installing inline blowers if this isn't enough.

They'll probably still get good air but why didnt you mount them horizontally. Given their structure they probably would've worked better that way

You want them closest to center. If I'd mounted them horizontally, their center would be further out.

I'd go with a loop/lip/scoop before a fan. Still, it looks nice. Pic of ducting?

I think I was visualizing it closer to the center mouth duct, not in the same exact place you had it. Nice work though. Looks good too

I think it was Kimi around the same year, went into Eau Rouge right after someone smoked their engine. From TV, looked just about 100% blind from the **** cloud of parts and oil. No throttle trace, but from the sound.....

Later that day, his mechanics had to make a cutout in the floor so that he could fit his ********* in the cockpit. Goddamn, if they **** with Eau Rouge ever, I will 100% commit suicide. I cannot even think the words Eau Rouge and not have the hair on the back of my neck stand on end.

************. At least I have the 'Glen and Lime Rock. Moth....er....****.....er

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Spa is f*cking awesome! Vids coming...

Just too bad a guy had two wreck his € 170.000 Audi R8 in his first lap at Eau Rouge... shut us down for two hours.

Finally found a source for Wilwood Cotter Pins.

Ah, there we go, the summit/ebay one is <$14. The other place, after shipping, it over 20! I figured shipping would kill you on these.
