True, I had these on the previous 7J's and once they wear out I will go to 225/45. Must say that 195 on 8J has much more grip/stability than on 7J,.

seriously, I have 225's on 7" wheels. Porportionally they'd be 255 or so if I had 8" wheels.

dammit now I want 8" wheels.

I have 225's on 6.5" wheels. But pull out a tape measure and I have a 8.5" contact patch so I'm happy. I like the lota' tire look myself.

How much money do you have into your build so far? You have come a long way from a Begi S.

We should meet up when I have the car back together!
The Ltec wheel is 34,5cm outer diameter (13,5"). Should be slightly smaller than stock.

Edit: I've seen you around in Februari this year, I think. Why is your project on hold?

8.5" = 215,968mm so you have in effect a 215 tire
Now go get yourself some 6UL's

So, I pieced together this airbag adapter. 4x 12Ohm 1W 1% in parallel.
Also, should be receiving the Belfab stuff today .
Oh and the injectors, intercooler and new GT2560R turbo shipped last night!
Finally progress!

Wink

Some pictures of the rods, pistons, bearings
They will start on the short block next week and hopefully the correct ARP head studs arrive when the head is needed.

Talking Yeah! Progress at last! Full speed ahead now!

BEGI stuff came in, that's: intercooler, ACT HD, RC550's, reroute, etc. The short block is almost finished:
