I posted this up in the Adaptronic Forum, but incase you didn't get a chance to see it. I'm going to get their official instructions on the other two soon.
Installation of MX5 NB8A Plug-in loom adapter
1. Disconnect Factory ECU from loom
2. Connect plug-in loom adapter to Factory ECU
3. Connect plug-in loom to e420c
4. Connect plug-in loom to factory loom
The e420c requires the use of a MAP sensor. The plug-in loom uses the factory wiring for the signal that originally is used for the MAF sensor. To install the MAP sensor in the engine bay the three wires need to be connected as such:
+5v -> Connect to +5V on the factory TPS
GND -> connect to GND on the factory TPS
Signal -> connect to the LtGrn/Blk signal wire that was used for the MAF sensor
Outputs of e420c as used on plug-in loom adapter
Aux out 1 -> Idle control (PWM @100Hz)
Aux out 2 -> VICS control (PWM @200Hz)
Aux out 3 -> Wastegate control (PWM @25Hz) Formerly EGR Boost Solenoid Line
Aux out 4 -> Wastegate control (PWM @25Hz) Formerly Purge Valve Solenoid Line
Aux out 5 -> Fuel Pump
Aux out 6 -> Thermo Fan
Aux out 7 -> A/C Condenser Fan
Aux out 8 -> A/C Relay
Inputs of e420c as used on plug-in loom adapter
Aux in 1 -> Clutch switch
Aux in 2 -> Neutral switch
Aux in 3 -> PSP switch
Aux in 4 -> A/C switch

How many are on the list now to date for the group buy? I think I am going to purchase a 99-00 model. Travis, I am going to call you first because I have a couple of questions before I order.
**Edit**
I guess there is no contact number for Boundary Engineering on the site. Travis, is there a number I can reach you at? Otherwise, I can PM you my number and you can call me when you have time.
Thanks

You should make 5.
I need one more final count!
Everyone who is still in, please send me a PM and letme know.
If we have 5 I think its probably best to go ahead with it now. Anyone who needs contact information just leave me a PM and I'll get back with you.

Unfortunately not, The shipping alone was about 100 bucks a piece to get them here. I about lost money on you guys!
The whole reason I can give the group buy prices has to do with better shipping rates, and what I actually have to pay goes down when I order 5 at a time. Since you all wanted yours earlier, and I didn't get a hold of them in time to ship them together I paid full price on 1 per unit, and full cost on shipping.

So Stein, are you up and running?
I'm leaning towards this, but I do not want any more friggin CELs.

I was hoping to see either Stein or 18psi running with minimal issues before committing the funds. Any updates?

All I can say is USPS definitely dropped the ball on this. It should of been there by wednesday, if they didn't get it tonight I don't know why I paid extra for 2nd day, seeing how this is fourth day.
Ben:
I can say in the hour or so that mine has been running in the shop, even pig rich with the MAP wrong, I have yet to see a CEL.

well, i have a MS2 for my 2000 miata. But frankly, i am stumped by it. I still have yet to figure out the cam and crank inputs and don't have the contacts i need to complete the harness. soo....
since this adaptronic unit will run plug n' play in parallel with a 2000, and probably return obd codes, i am down. This car is my daily driver and my engine is 100% stock right now. So as long as i can switch between the stock ecu and this one relatively easily (until i get the thing tuned reliably) you can COUNT ME IN!
i guess i will just have to sell the megasquirt for cheap, to someone who knows how to make it work.

I remembered reading it, but I couldn't remember what format it was in. Couldn't find it in my private messages, my emails, or any of stein's threads after I had read it. Never even occurred to me to look here for some reason. Oh well, Stein is on target. If you want boost you've got to have a 3 Bar.The one bar will give you more resolution for NA applications.
