Finally bought myself a new DD today!

2007 Nissan Altima 3.5 SE in charcoal.

Signed everything and paid up but couldn't take the car home today.

******* city has me stamped "tax delinquent" for something that I'm not really delinquent on, but because they're not open today I have no way of getting it straightened out until tues.

Ohh well, at least the negotiating bs and paperwork is done.

No seat belt, the car hit a guard rail going about 50 on a country road. Air bag scuffed up my arm, and I've got bruises on my legs from the steering wheel. My forehead crushed the windshield, and sent large cracks through the whole thing. No concussion, just a bump in the center of my forehead where my third eye would be. When it comes to taking damage, I do really, really well. I'm just a little stiff today (14ish hours after the wreck).

To add insult to injury, my glasses were toast, so I'm wearing the ones I had in middle school, which is giving me a headache and hurting my eyes.

Goddamn deer.

fuckdamn, machine shop left a message with my wife when I got back from Norfolk, apparently my 7Ms oilpump went fail aids a long time ago, to the point I was lucky the car ran at all when I came back from Travis. Cylinders 5 and 6 showed lack of lubrication and cooling, where it warped the head superbad, so now I have to get a rebuilt head. They had a core they could rebuild, but they wanted 1100 extra for that, I said nah dog, imma just buy a rebuilt 7MGE head and install stage 3 brian crower cams for less that price.

actually nah, breh. I am still under 2k dollars with an ordered pre rebuilt head and crower cams with my build. A 2jz single turbo is around 2.3k shipped with stock internals, plus I have no idea how long the engine sat in the warehouse, how the overseas voyage affected the engine, and how hard the previous owner was on the motor when running. Plus I am getting all the 7M flaws remedied with a blueprint balance and shimmed racing oil pump. I would love a MS for the car, but I suck at circuitry, so imma get a emanage ECU down the road along with bigger injectors and big *** turbo

Government employees, lol:
So I rented a larger than we're supposed to get because I was driving a bunch to do damage survey on some properties I worked on. My justification was multiple passengers and the need for cruise control. DC wrote back to me letting me know that I was no longer supposed to use cruise control while doing my damage survey. Wow.

Last company rental car I had was a Civic Si. We made good use of the handbrake on the country gravel roads.
