2nd time I've seen this mentioned in the past couple of days. You wouldn't happen to have posted this over on CR "post your pint" would you? I wouldn't think you would give up your CR username that easily

edit: just saw it was y8s. my theory is busted :'(

nor would he appreciate it for its flavor or raison d'être

I plan to pay him with something more Brain-appropriate.

While I do have a CR alter ego, I use it only for insulting people who have done stupid things, and only after someone posts a link to the stupid thing here. I didn't even know that CR had a beer thread, and now that I posses that information, I will do absolutely nothing as a result of it.

It was quite a show this year. Nobody has yet posted the Wheaton monologue (which literally had me crying with laughter), but here are Neil Gaiman and George R.R. Martin pwning Paul and Storm:

(It's important to remember that since the v2.4 release, W00tstock-SD has always intersected San Diego Comicon both spatially and temporally. Thus, the audience is largely populated by the sort of people who know who Neil Gaiman and George R.R. Martin are, and are amused by seeing them do silly things which are out of character. I had no idea who Neil Gaiman and George R.R. Martin were, which makes the thing that I tweeted onto the big screen during the pre-show silliness even more amusing.)

I miss it now that you mentioned raison d'etre

that's weird. you'd think it'd remind you of dogfish head's raison d'etre:

It did, but that beer didn't have as great of a story behind it or taste as the Sierra Nevada Anniversary Bigfoot. Drank the bigfoot for breakfast after some yager bombs, got drunk, and went snowboarding in a bigfoot costume. It was very hard at first, but eventually I got the hang of snowboarding in a costume while drunk. Also they had a refreshment bar at the bottom of the mountain. Blue Moon has never tasted so good as that day (not normally a fan)

Had the Dogfish head at my sisters apartment while completely sober and playing a video game. Not something my mind would skip to

So my gem of a girl for the last 4 years is finally moving out.

We've come to the conclusion that what I want, is not what she wants and vice versa.

She's leaving and I'm staying at the house, but 80% of what's here is going with her. Thus meaning I need to buy just about everything again.

I'm looking forward to it though. This has been a long time coming and I'm glad I'm one of those guys that gets the chance to escape this before I'm locked in for life. ****. That.

Not to mention I finally get to buy everything I want and do whatever I want. ****. Yes.

I give him a little more credit than that, but his latest beer lament was that the place he went didn't serve his stella in a chalice and cut off the protruding headfoam.
