I love my 19 (slightly smaller version of 17).

Been into guns for 15yrs, always though Glock guys were a bunch of elitists, owned a bunch of other shit in the meantime, and am glad I finally decided to see what all the fuss was about.

I've got a friend looking at one of these. Anyone have any comments/experience with one?

Fack, I can't get the CZ 9mm with a decock in SS, so it has to be black. This changes things and the CZ75-SP01. I like this gun frankly because it supposedly shoots well according to the guy I work with who has one, his favorite pistol.

The trusty 9m m M&P. Nothing fancy here, just a solid service gun. I know it will be a good gun, but kind of boring and run of the mill...but not necessarily a bad thing if I need a mag or parts.

I may drive out to the shop I linked to and pick one of those up tomorrow. This way you won't have to deal with me whoring up this thread anymore.

So your getting the first CZ?

You do realize that that rifle will take only single-stack magazines, right? You and your friends have the WORST taste in firearms.

Don't buy a Polymer CZ. If you're going to do it, do it right and get the blued one.

No one has those fuckers in stock. I really want that two tone SS gun, bad. I'm frustrated because I can't find the gun I want and I'm getting anxious. I may end up with the M&P out of frustration tomorrow.

I'm thinking about just walking in and getting something so I can be done with it. The gun I really want is a two tone SP-01 with a decock lever, but that's a $1000 special order. At that point, I should get a Kimber 1911 and be manly about it.

You aren't poor, it's not like you are making a permanent decision. You can own more than one gun.

I don't like Kimber's 1911s. I've had a dozen or so different ones over the years and I've never been too thrilled to shoot them.

Yes, I buy and sell a lot of guns. I'm only emotionally attached to a handful of them, the rest are just toys.

I know this recommendation doesn't come with the big name, but read reviews of the rock island tactical .45. You might be surprised at what you will get for the money. A buddy of mine has an FFL and he recommended it as the best bang for the buck.

$453 at buds guns

Someone needs to start a group buy on these. I'll jump in :)

^Answered... my wife is awesome... but not that awwesome.

On ana ctual gun note, I must pick up a .22lr rifle. Can't decide on bolt-action or semi w/tube feed. Current winner is Savage MKII.

Before you mention it, CZ's are too much and a 10/22 is too done-that.

ChrisGriffin 12-20-2011 02:04 PM

Was and the gun store the other day and checked out that Savage. It had a really nice feel in my hands. Probably the most comfortable rifle I have picked up in a while. This one had the thumbhole stock.

rleete 12-20-2011 02:08 PM

I have a Marlin that I really like. Aftermarket mags (30 round?) fit well, and feed consistantly. Als0, being a standard box mag, I find it easier to load than the 10-22 style.
