Does Gun-Kote come in pink? Doo eet, you know you want to... Bending that flat was super easy. Only took about 2000 worth of tools, time, and skill to fabricate a jig for stamping, riveting, and drilling..

I'm debating if i try to find someone to swap .40 Glock/Sub2000 combo for 9mm. I am finding I want to limit my reloading requirements. Speaking of reloading, I'm tired of crawling around on the ground to retrieve my brass. Really love how cheap it is to load leads rounds especially, but it kinda takes some of the fun away to hunt and search for empties. The glock at least puts them all in the same place, after it hammers the damn thing on the roof for a giant dent in the mouth where the keltec just says, "I think I'll throw this one over this way and the next over there.." |

This is what I did this weekend. I went through 10 lbs of tannerite, it was fun and that someone heard it about 4 miles away.

Headed to my first Louisiana gunshow this weekend. Still looking for a .380 carry piece and can't decide.
LCP DB .380 Bodyguard .380 Keltec P3AT Hellcat Bersa Thunder Kahr etc... I've picked them all up several times and thought I'd made up my mind several times, but still haven't bought one. |
Ruger P93? I looked at them, but I'd like something bigger then .380 personally. IIRC they seemed to get good reviews.

And my P3AT works just fine, thanks. Goes bang when I pull the trigger. |

Kel-Tec was there first.

Goes bang when I pull the trigger. http://www.myhostedpics.com/images/G...eltecs001a.jpg Pay more for the pretty finish of the ruger, or buy the same god damn gun from Keltec for like $100.00 less. Both shoot the exact same. Guess my PF9 is a copy of the LC9 then? If you can't make accurate DAO shots with a small pistol and have accurate followups then you're doing it wrong. Standing with two hands I can hit 12x12 steel plates at 50 meters with my PF9. When it warms up I'll get video of it. Trigger. Control. In my personal opinion, owning a DAO, SAO, DA/SA, and Striker fired pistols there really isn't any shooting difference between DAO and striker. You can easily swap in a different connector and get a lighter trigger for the striker fired, which is really the only difference in feel from my perspective. Before typing this I dry fired several times my PF9 (DAO) and G22 (striker) to compare. Factory G22 trigger feels about the same weight as my PF9 trigger, only a little lighter. Sam, have you considered the Sig? http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b3...ag-C-640RS.jpg Baby 1911 in .380acp FTW... Here is an overlay of a P238 and LCP: Attachment 186388 |

...Sam, have you considered the Sig?... I can do "my part", but I'm also 6'4" and my hands are big... the smaller guns present a challenge to us big guys in the realm of "trigger control". I didn't consider the Sig because I'm trying to stay under $300 for the gun... the Sig is about $500 and I the extra $200 buys me a lifetime of ammo for a cheaper and equally as effective .380. In other words, I like the Bersa +1000rds over the Sig. |

If you have not fired them, do yourself a favor and find some buddies or a range with rentals. I have a very strong love/hate relationship with my LCP: I love the ease of carry (can toss it in the pocket of some gym shorts to walk the dogs) but hate the way it shoots. |
So seriously... someone trade me 9mm Glock version Sub2000 w/ matching Glock.... for my .40 set :p

Personal opinion here, but If you want to shoot 50yds you might look elsewhere from the subcompact .380. If you want to shoot someone car jacking you. I would recomend the LCP for it ease of carry. It shoots bullets and they hurt and point blank range.

I put my FNAR to the test. Two deer within 5 min of one another. Excuse my ugly mug, :D

I am NOT against hunting, but why does everyone that is showing off their deer sit, holding the head up, smiling like they are best friends? It is meat. You just killed it. Hang it and gut it, then take the pictures.
