Damn. Why would they offer a manifold only for the inferior engine?

Forgive me but I'm struggling to see the connection, or the response to pic you requested.

So anyway leak down and compression test yielded decent results so I picked up my garrett gt2560. If it boost, I am gonna take my turbo to time turbos and he is gonna do a 19t upgrade/rebuild.

Yep. Capped IAC. Which means no boost leak.

Dont we all wish. The answer to that is a big nope. Did not solve it.

Uego goes in today, If afr is clean temp turbo goes on. I picked up my buddys turbo (we know was boosting (gt2560)) and the adapters I order should be here in a week or so.

EDIT:
Unless you mean the it looks good and that isnt the reason for boost leak. Fix from the pic was a clamp, however boost still doesnt build.

AFR Clean temp?

If it works you'll see near stock ratio I'm guessing. Maybe richer conditions once you actually get boost going.

The IAC should be plumbed to the piping from the intercooler to the throttle body otherwise it cannot control the idle.

Didn't the 1.6 also have an EGR valve like the 1.8? Where is that currently routed? It would be at the back of the intake near the firewall if it has one.

I'm guessing his sentence should read: The UEGO will go in today and if the AFR's are clean, then the temporary turbo will go on.

Yay far grammar.

IAC doesn't matter. It's a luxury item.

No egr on 1.6
