I took a data log of starting up when I added coolant and screwed around with the ASE percentage and PWM idle. It's still idling very low, but it idles longer and starts a little faster. Any suggestions?

So looking at my data log I can see I have waaay to much fuel. 10:1..So I need to reduce it. How do I go about doing this? Do I have to remove fuel from my fuel table or do I do something in the start up and idle section?

Just open your spark table while the car is running. If it says 10 on the cell where it's running at, shoot the balancer with your timing light and it should read 10 as well...simple.
It's not like the older cars where you need to move your CAS...you should be good to go.
In order to adjust fueling in your fuel table, the car should be fully warmed up. If it's not warmed up and it's running really rich (10 something), then it's in your warm up tables.

I haven't messed with the timing. Mainly because I thought since my car is a 2001 and has vvt that I can't do anything with the timing. I will look at start up settings and pretend I know what I'm doing.

If your warmup looks like mine, then I'd actually adjust your fuel table.
It'll be under basic settings, fuel VE 1.
This:

You'll see where it's idling at if you open the table while it's running. Click in the box where it's running at and lower the number a little bit and click burn. See if the fueling gets leaner then...

Fuel table...your lowest cell at 41 could be ok...like I said, it's dependent on your required fuel setting. I could use a stock miata injector required fuel setting for RX8 injectors, but my fuel table would be wayyyy different than it looks right now. What I'm trying to say is, I use 13.2 for required fuel for stock 99 miata injectors. When I ran rx7 junk 460 pnp's, I used 6.9. If I simply changed my required fuel, the table only needed very slight adjustments. I have never swapped in my RX8 pnp's, so I'm not sure if 7.45 is the correct required fuel...it might be off a little bit which would cause your fueling table to look a lot different than mine. Like, if my idle cells are in the low 40's, your idle cells might need to be in the mid 30's...ya dig?

Makes sense. By different I mean slope of the graph is different. His was more curved but used similar WUE%'s Yours is much more linear but they end up in roughly the same place. So I think this would mean your values are actually higher then my current ones. Also for required fuel it's set at 6.2.
Actually, all of my ECUs have a second board inside it, with a different processor that takes many more inputs and outputs, and works together with the MS2 processor. This means more features that are not available to any "off the shelf" Megasquirt.

Its getting there. I tried 7.45 as required fuel it didn't seem to like that much. So with it changed to 6.2 and leaning it up it idled a lot better and longer. Its still pretty low though.
