Buy a clapped out fox body Mustang, and get it out of your system. Then come back and enjoy the Miata for what it is, not something it isn't.

Ed found these trick quick release fire extinguisher mounts. Either going to go on the harness bar or under the passengers knees.

I told you trampoline sex was not a good idea. You should have listened to me.

Spent some time playing with the welder and my spare pan.

Trying to decide if I want to use an NPT bung for options (45* fitting, low profile, etc) or an AN bung for simplicity.

I bought this (to use with ORB plug for now):

https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/pr...oduct=3228-126

ARP does one for a little cheaper.

AN/ORB unions are like $12 from Pegasus, so the total price is comparable to if you got a nice low-profile female NPT bung and an AN/NPT union.

Gonna order a couple of these maybe. I don't like how thin they are on the inside, makes the welding a lot harder.

Decisions decisions. Or i'll stick with the basic 10AN. I'll build a manifold first and figure out placement.

Those look thinner in that area than the Pegasus ones. The ARP one looks even beefier.

Those ARP ones look good. If I need then I'll probably go that route. Maybe a basic 10an fitting will work. I have like 6 of em. Need 2 for my catch can, and 1 for the valve cover.

Seems like -10 AN male is the way to go for everything except the oil drain. I love using fewer fittings, but having extra threaded aluminum crap sticking out to hit the subframe sounds unpleasant.

Yup. THats why i would go with the ORB. Or just npt. Not sure yet. I can just put a cap on the male AN.
