Assuming it should be a steel fitting, I need to find my old 10an cap from the last oil drain I did.
Dont do that. Mine gushed oil. maybe if you connect from that hole to the back of the valve cover. But I've been fine with just the exhaust side with a big bung, drilled holes, and chore boys.

Same place? The factory casting? Bob has been running it for years.

I've seen a couple cars do that, but all were running fancy surge tank fuel setups. My wrx was at 93-5% iirc at 428 60 base pressure and dw65c (255lph)

You guys are still ignoring the dyno plot that was posted... Your wrx also had more drivetrain loss.

I know the plot. I was there. You weren't even part of MT back then
I don't even know (or care) what you y'all are debating. Just adding my experience. I hope you make 600 on the ID1k's

I'd like to see similar numbers to soviet. No reason I shouldn't be able to. ~400 on pump ~450 on e85

Unless you datalogged fuel pressure there is a good chance it does not hold 60psi reference until redline. It also obviously depends on what fuel ratio you are targeting.

With a single walbro450 I dropped like 4psi at full power on the dyno. I also found out my fuel sock was pinched against the bottom of the tank. Moved the pump up and will be trying again. Interested to see if it's any different.

Snagged a pair of these to connect from hard-line to an6 in the engine bay.

Are you sure you want to go with compression fittings? I know it says 250psi but tube nuts make me sleep well at night.

You're assuming I haven't already.

I know leafy had issues with tube nut sealing. And finding 5/16 to an6 was a struggle last time I looked.

I love being wrong though. Edumucate me plz.

I run an -05 tube nut with a -05/-06 male union, all steel Aeroquip. I could only find a -06 5/16 tube nut in JIC, which felt like bad juju although fine on paper.

I think most tube nut issues (aside from mixing 37/45, which I assume Leafy didn't do) are from using a 37 degree flare tool meant for relatively soft hard lines. Mine is rated for stainless.

Ok sounds goodml. I will cancel my compression fitting order. Link me the tube nut stuff. How about I pick it up at mrls and ship it back to you. Id be happy to leave any sort of deposit that you would like.
