Aidan's loose oily bunghole actually runs a track lap
This is exactly my strategy. I use aluminum everywhere except for where it contacts flares I have made in small lines. I only tighten tube-to-fitting connections a little bit more than fitting-to-fitting ones though.
Now just go for the gucci Goodridge Type 910 line

**** bends in 0.80" radii. But is ungodly expensive.

Naw. I got a hookup with Redhorse stuff. And I've been really happy with it so far. I actually already have all AN lines, but i just hose clamped them over the hardline.
One thought: I'd check the steel unions every once in a while with e85. They're dichromate plated, which is definitely less optimal than aluminum for e85.
Not that I buy into random e85 fear, but I heard that dichromate is not great with e85.

This car won't see e85 full time. I'll run it for some dyno queen pulls probably, but it will be on pump gas most of the time.
I looked at stainless versions. Something like 10x the cost.

My issues were with those fittings. I'm going to use -5AN flares when I extend my lines for the MZR.

Sweet. [Utag]AFM[/utag] see you at MRLS. Do you have the rigid ratcheting crimper?
Also fixed my fuel pump. Went crazy. PTFE heat shrink. And fuel hose clamped around the power line in case that fails too. Its amazing how the heat shrink just melted. If those wires touched together with a 20 amp fuse....kablooie.
Everyone should check their fuel pump wiring today.

More variables in properly forming the EFI ends, especially given the 8mm vs. 5/16 discrepancy. Lots less to go wrong with a simple 37 degree flare on a hydro tool.
Plus the plastic lined EFI/AN adapters are suspect and the two piece all-metal Russell ones look more expensive than tube nuts?

I get the 2 piece ones for relatively cheap. But yeah, makes sense.

Flipped the trailer around so the box is in the front. Took it out for a spin. Tows like a champ.

Is that the Harbor Freight trailer? That thing must be pretty new, mine is a couple years old and the red powder coat has turned pink.
Unsolicited advice:
Unsolicited advice:
- Clean out the shitty grease and repack the bearings with Dominator or CV2
- Go to HF and get the larger wheels that fit this trailer/hub combo
- Buy a spare hub for the trailer and keep it in the spares box, along with the tools to change it

Yup. All for the price of a new trailer. Garage kept too. Has carpet and stuff where the wheels go down.
The fuel jug carrier is a little sketchy. The rod almost bounced out yesterday. I've been zip tieing it since.
Also has fancy LED lights. Because the old ones broke when he unloaded tires and flipped it up.
